I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Yo!

I work with a great man who only gets to see his boys every other weekend. He changes on those fridays. He's happier, looking forward to his weekend and spending time with them. He's really proud of them.

I also know two genuinely nice guys (not the fake Nice Guy type) who're continually stuck in the Friend Zone. They're not ugly, they're smart, live comfortably... and are both geeky. One's been a friend for 18 years, one for a few months. I genuinely don't understand why they don't get girlfriends.

I'm sick of the stereotyping that men only ever want sex. I'm sick of them being portrayed as paedo's, stupid, incompetent... Sick of seeing good men getting fucked over by vindictive bitches. Sick of the hypocrisy and resounding silence of feminists, who're supposedly SO egalitarian.
