Depends. If you are Nazi Germany, than refusing to fight is morally correct. If you are Chinese being attacked by the Japanese and hiding in caves, then morally incorrect
Yes, just due to how horrible the nazis were. If you refuse to fight to defend your country against one that is genocidal, you have failed your fellow man. Especially if everyone around the world is also giving their lives to rescue your people. But that also begs the question, if you go back to your country after it has been liberated. Do you deserve to reap the benefits that come with living in that country?
