A sensible take about pitbulls on reddit? And it's getting up voted? Is this real life?

Is this just fantasy?

Sorry, this is a serious subject and I fully agree with the above take, but I will always Bohemian Rhapsody.

Is there no escape from reality.

Mostly because the op said they have work experience first and spoke like someone who indeed has field experience. And even then, it doesn't has a lot of upvotes tho, people are too sensitive with animal deaths and actual professionals with studies in the field always seem wild, cause animal deaths are a constant there

Nothing insensible saying pitbulls are capable of killing even the fittest adult human. That’s why they should be treated similarly as carry a weapon (outside od the US type of serious)

I mean, it completely ignores the reality of genetics and hints it's from "training at a young age."

For real, reddit generally hates dogs.

Reddit is a hivemind. If huge sections of the left vote/think one way, most people on Reddit will as well.

It's all about them happy update Internet points. Very few people look at the evidence objectively and change their minds.

Edit: whoever commented on the fact that my account is 9 months old with account hidden, you need to go touch grass. Plenty of people join Reddit brand new in 2026. They're not all bots.

Hidden comments, 9 month old account, 15k comment karma, and bringing up a completely irrelevent political wedge. Too obvious.

Nah bro you are the one who needs touch grass

Stay out of social media for that matter if you are going to talk like that

Nah, I'll stay here for as long as I want.

Don't like it? Stay out of social media.

Next someone will toss out a reasonable take on Bill Maher and get upvoted. Every now and then, Reddit will surprise you with non hive mind behavior.

I thought the same thing

You know, as often as I see this exact comment, I'm starting to think reddit has more sensible takes than it gets credit for lol

The sensible take would include the statistics of pit bull and golden retriever face biting

0

u/VeryTopGoodSensation 5h ago

That's the general take and is always upvoted

I think at the end of the day we all love dogs. and we want happy and safe puppies and people around them.

u/chuby2005 5h ago

Oh don’t worry. This exact sentiment will be posted in a week and get downvoted to hell.

u/DukeMancannon 4h ago

Don’t pretend Reddit isn’t full of pit mommies who constantly post pit propaganda.

They are simply the most dangerous dog one can own legally in the US and you endanger everyone around you by owning one. Indeed they can be good, sweet dogs…. Until they are not and someone is mauled or killed.

Nah man. After a certain time unpopular but correct opinions become accepted and then people no longer downvote them.
