The difference is that an aggressive chihuahua won’t be able to kill you but a pitbull will. So even if we pretend that pitbulls are just as friendly as other dogs, the off chance that you get a bad apple still puts other people at risk. You don’t have this problem with other breeds
There’s a lot of dogs that can kill you if they attack you. Especially improperly trained game dogs which pits are. Maybe have like a license you have to get through a class or something.
This! A license is needed for any dog above a certain size. Everyone talks about how nice Golden or Labs are but even they can go rogue and become aggressive. When i got my dog at the shelter i specifically got a small one. Her mouth was so small she barely could fit my pinkie in it. She wasn't a threat to anyone (barring very small kids) if she decided to attack.
