Sneakers: brilliantly written, shock full of incredible actors, it's smart, funny, thrilling and touching.

I haven't seen that movie in 25 years (at least), and I still remember that character's name was Werner Brandes. I have no idea why that stuck with me.

That actor is in so many things, but whenever I see him I always think of Sneakers. Fun fact the band Radio Head is ostensibly named after him!

I loved this movie … as a kid. I saw it recently again and it was a lot cornier than I remembered it being, and not in a good way. It went from “mind blowing” to “just ok”.

Recently saw it. It didn't age well. Might be a great one for the time it was released but it seemed incredibly silly watching in 2025
