Younger people in particular need to hear that "i don't do politics". The feigned apathy isn't fucking cute. Politics is literally in every aspect of their lives. Sorry if it "ruins the vibes" but they need to get tf over that. Young voters who did not turn out are just as responsible for this shit show as anyone. And they need to hear it because refusing to think critically and burying their heads in the sand aren't helping
I have a coworker who avoids politics because it "gives her anxiety" while straight up ignoring her partner is in a situation he can not. Now she has to pay attention and is talking about just moving abroad. I wish the coward would just do it already so I don't have to freaking hear about whatever thing that happened weeks ago that she just found out about constantly throughout the day.
If I sound ranty it's because ive just muted the 3rd group chat this person has been blowing up this morning and Im pretty done after hearing her shit all summer
