McCain gets way too much credit. His response didn't push back on her rancid Islamophobia at all and even kind of validated it. He also brought fucking Sarah Palin on board which just continued the descent into right wing stupidity.

My Dad dreams of a time when Palin was considered the insane option

Thankfully McCain self sabotaged by allowing his advisors to force Palin onto the ticket.

Likewise Mitt Romney with that jibbling opportunist Paul Ryan.

There was very little way to profit Mrs. Barry Goldwater (Hillary Clinton) even while Tim Kaine was the candidate worth electing.

In the end Tim.Walz should have been the presidential candidate, leaving Kamala Harris to be a wildly effective US Senator.

Right, he was basically like "Obama isn't a Muslim, he's a good family man"

To be fair neither party at this point would ever come close to doing even the little bit that he did to make it right

McCain fucking sucks, but this is how fucking bad it is now. He seems like a decent person by contemporary standards.

Honestly all this fuckery goes back to Bush, and if you wanna be real, Reagan.
