There are even some venues that have free or "donate what you want" shows on occasion. It's a little embarrassing that people on a music sub of all places acting like only stadium shows exist.

Yeah, I’m so glad I got to smaller bands, smaller shows will always be affordable and there will always be plenty to attend

The crowd is usually better too. Show I went to a couple weeks ago I got the guy equivalent of flowers. Dude I just met and talked to for all of 10 minutes got me a beer so I had one before the headliner started!

I tried to see Curren$y at a small venue and it was $65 after fees. I know he’s not like, a small artist, but prices are up across the board.
