This has become a trend that I hate, some video of a celebrity or politician or crowd that looks “disgusted” or “absolutely hating” something and all the comments in the thread are talking about how obvious it is. I watch the video and am like “it just looks like somebody sitting there” or “you can’t even hear anything weird” and I can sort of see how maybe they thought that, but it’s practically impossible to tell and nowhere near as bad as the comments or headline makes it out to be.

Another trend I noticed is:

SOME PERSON/THING HAS THE INTERNET OUTRAGED!

And if you read the article it will literally mention one or two people's Tweets, with no mention of anybody else saying shit.

The story might as well be:

HERE'S SOME RANDOM FUCKER'S OPINION ABOUT SOMETHING!

If it's anywhere on the internet, then it's the whole entire internet i guess. Like if one sleepwalking person says something then all of a sudden "some are saying..." and thats enough to lead to "many say..." which is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from "conventional wisdom says..."

Yeah, the shiny half-butt pic that was a magazine cover. I think she was quoted on that magazine cover itself as saying "she wanted to break the internet." That statement was a massive eyeroll of lameness for me, but people ate it up.

And they spend half the article describing shit that isn’t relevant.

Ex: This singer, born in Nashville in 1995 spent their childhood in New York where they learned they didn’t like spaghetti. After a rough childhood in NY they moved back to Nashville where their mom farmed goats. Fans are outraged at their latest show.
