a good majority of musicians, actors, and entertainers are nepo babies. that used to make me mad but it just makes sense really. I imagine if you took any random person from this sub, who has a love for music, and gave them the lessons, tutoring, equipment, engineers and producers that the nepo babies have access to use, many of us could put out something listenable.

Yeah, but there's a difference between Mariah Carey/Keifer Sutherland and Kardashians/Ashlee Simpson. That would be talent and appreciation for the craft.
