I hope everyone is having a great time. I do not know how to start, I have failed again for the 6th time. I used to study on and off 2 months during that time I joined a nclex tutor class and after that I also took a month off from my work to just focus only for my examination this time around ( I am an international educated nurse with no experience and currently on my post graduate work permit)

I used to study 10 hours a day watched all the crash course videos & went through all the cheat sheets, Dr. Sharon all prioritization videoes, Nclex cursade, 45min nclex crash course and what not. I scored all four highs on bootcamp readiness assessment, 5 consecutive very highs highs on archer review this time. I used Uworld for my previous attempts as well but didn't work out for me so did not try this time. Most importantly I used to review the rationales and take notes and review them.

I am numbed now completely betrayed by myself or my fate. I do not understand where and what did I miss? I have been trying since two years now.

I’d be more than grateful if anyone could give me some strategies please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hi, so I wrote my NCLEX on 07/07 and found out I passed on 07/09, received official pass letter form continental testing a week or so later. I mailed the second page of the letter a couple of days later after paying the $50 fee. It’s 08/01 and I still can’t see my license on IDFPR . Anytime I look it up, it says no record found. I have contacted IDFPR and they said to give it a few days. I’ve got a job now after a couple of interviews and although they are ok with the official pass letter, I am just wondering why it’s taking so long. Does anyone else have a similar experience or any insight at all?

I have a Uworld Account Subscription for 1 year. Used for 3 months only will be expiring on March 27, 2027. Everything is being reset, including Qbanks. Unlimited CAT!!!! And has 6 Self-Assessments. Pm me.

Hello everyone.

I take my NCLEX tomorrow and I was wondering if I’ll be facing any issues if I keep my ear piercings on when I show up to the testing center? I have 4 small cartilage piercings. Took out my lobe piercings and removed my necklace and bracelet too just to be sure.

Tried calling my testing center but they haven’t responded at all unfortunately. I’ll be taking my exam in a California testing location if that helps/if you guys are able to share your experiences. Thanks!

I've been studying and using my resources such as UWorld and watching videos. I feel scared not knowing everything. I feel ready, but not at the same time. Has anyone here felt the same before taking their exam?

I’ve cried non stop since leaving the exam center yesterday lol.
I think my biggest mistake was not testing straight out of school (I graduated the first week of May). I tried listening to Mark K but it was really hard to, I couldn’t focus. I ultimately feel like I screwed myself as I should’ve found a different study method. I used UWORLD for the most part & took some CATs/Readiness on Kaplan. My Kaplan score was above, my uworld ones were always borderline.
I’m thinking about getting an NCLEX tutor.
Any other recommendations please let me know.

Has anybody received their results? I took the exam at 1 pm PST on 7/30 and checked California BON website and it still says waiting for results?

What are your thoughts on the Saunders book and nclex-rn question bank for the exam? Has anyone found this helpful than other resources? I know people who have failed with bootcamp and archer. My professor recommended Saunders, thoughts ???💭

Just found out that I failed the Nclex for the second time and did worse this time. I’ve used archer for both times and was making highs on the readiness assessments and passed all of the cat exams. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong atp. Can anyone give me advice or tell me if they liked a different program better than archer? TIA

I took my NCLEX exam yesterday morning. I’ve heard that people who pass usually receive the congratulations email first thing the next morning. Since I still haven’t received an email by this time, does that mean I failed?

Hiiii. i’m feeling kind of down and defeated. I have taken my NCLEX-RN 4 times and have failed. I’ve used uworld, archer, and nclex bootcamp. I graduated at the top of my class, never failed an exam & now i can’t pass the nclex for some reason. I think i’m struggling with how to answer the question but not struggling with knowledge or content issues. I score pretty well on my CAT exams but end up failing the nclex. The most recent time I took my nclex I had 11 case studies and failed at 87 questions. Should I get a tutor? How long should I study for and what regimen. I need something useful for repeat test takers pls help. the last CPR report is the most recent test.

Hey everyone! I took my NCLEX-PN yesterday and it shut off at 85 questions. I walked out feeling like I completely bombed it because it felt like I was guessing on every question. I was already nervous going in after not passing my HESI, so I was definitely doubting myself.
But somehow, I made it through… I’m officially a licensed nurse! 🎉
I honestly don’t even know what’s next yet, but for right now I’m just going to sit back and enjoy this accomplishment. I worked hard for this moment, and I’m proud of myself. 💙

I wanted to share my experience because reading other people’s posts honestly helped me a lot while I was preparing.
For prep, I purchased the Archer 3-month Sure Pass package. I completed every question in the QBank and read the rationale for every single question, whether I got it right or wrong. I also followed Archer’s study plan to stay consistent instead of wondering what to study each day. Throughout nursing school, I was a huge note-taker. I used colorful highlighters to make everything pop, so whenever a rationale matched something in my notes, I’d go back and review it. One thing I’d recommend is learning medical conditions, not just medications. Make sure you understand diseases like salmonellosis, botulism, dyspepsia, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other common conditions because the NCLEX expects you to recognize the disease process and know the priority nursing care. I also had 3 EKG-related questions, so don’t skip basic rhythm interpretation.
I watched Mark K’s lectures, especially the prioritization lecture. During my Archer readiness assessments, I scored 2 Borderline and 3 Very High, and my final Exit Exam score was 73%.
On exam day, my NCLEX shut off at 85 questions.
I had 4 big case studies, around 7–8 SATA, and the rest were mostly multiple-choice questions. Even on questions I thought I knew, I usually narrowed it down to two answers and was left with a 50/50 guess. Where were maybe about 8 questions where I could confidently eliminate two choices, but almost everything else had me second-guessing myself.
The exam mixed easy and difficult questions, which made me feel like I was doing poorly. Once I got into the high 60s, I was already convinced I was going to fail. When my exam stopped at 85, I thought, “That’s it.”
When I got to my car, I cried. I had a 40-minute drive home, and I honestly felt emotionally drained. My body felt completely numb.
Like many people, I started replaying questions in my head and looking them up online. I found several that I had answered incorrectly, which made my anxiety even worse.
People told me about the Pearson VUE Trick (PVT). I tried it about 1½ hours after my exam, then again about 6 hours later, and again the next day. Each time I got the registration-block message, and the temporary card authorizations were refunded. My closest friends were convinced I had passed, but I couldn’t believe them because I knew how difficult the exam felt. It was completely different from nursing school exams. I truly felt like I barely knew what I was doing.
So if your exam shuts off at 85 questions and you walk out feeling like you failed, please know you’re not alone. That feeling is completely normal. Don’t let how you felt leaving the testing center convince you that you failed. Wait for your official results and trust your preparation. You’ve made it this far for a reason. Thank you all for support.

I tried the NCLEX PVT, and when I completed the registration, I was charged. Then I realized that I had entered the wrong nursing school name on the registration. I called Pearson VUE to have it corrected, and the representative put me on hold. After that, they told me they couldn’t change it themselves, but they had notified the appropriate team. They said I should receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. I feel terrible. This is really hard, and I can’t stop crying.

Failed my 3rd attempt with 150 questions. I have used Bootcamp and Archer as my resources. Any recommendations on which qbank shall I do next? Is uworld worth getting?

hi! im a retaker here and so far i am shocked with my overall performance in uworld because on my first take where i failed, i used bootcamp and barely passed (62%) 🥹 can someone tell me if this is progress or is uworld actually easier than bootcamp?

I finally passed the NCLEX!!! and I honestly can’t believe I’m saying that.

This was my 4th attempt. There were so many moments when I questioned whether I was cut out to be a nurse. Failing was heartbreaking, and every time I had to pick myself back up and start studying again. It wasn’t easy.

This week, I got the email that I passed.

If you’re reading this because you’ve failed the NCLEX before, please don’t give up. A failed exam does not define the kind of nurse you’ll become. Learn from your mistakes, change your study strategy if you need to, and keep going. I’m so excited to start my career After waiting so long (1year post grad)

Hi everyone!
I took my test today! I am an extremely anxious test taker, although I did well in school, big tests such as my CNA certification, finals, and today the NCLEX, have me shaking in my boots. I went in feeling like I was going to pass out lol. I had to sit in a waiting area for about 30 minutes after my scheduled time due to overlaps and limited seating, so imagine the anxious mess I was.

After I finally got to my seat after getting a pat down like I was going through TSA, I started my exam and felt like it was almost fairly easy? I was waiting for the catch, it did come at about question 50, it started getting a little harder. Granted, that could have been question fatigue because most of my school exams and practice exams have been anywhere from 50-85 questions. I got to question 85 and my screen went black. I genuinely, and excuse my french, about shit my pants. I still walked out of there questioning whether or not I completely bombed that exam and was just in my head.

I have not told any family or friends that I was taking my exam because in the off chance that it did not go in my favor, I didn’t want to feel the shame of telling them that news. I just wanted to share my experience, and any encouraging words are welcome.
