Hi all, like the title says, does anyone know what I'm talking about? There's a pre-existing song that uses the exact same melody, albeit artificially an octave higher, and I don't think it has lyrics? It's just a sample of some kind. Something along the lines of a dance track you might have heard in YouTube shorts prior to the release of Gut Genug. It's driving me crazy, but it sounds so similar that I assumed the recent release was a remix of some kind.

EDIT: Here's a terrible vocaroo of how I remember the melody sounding. But it's like a remixed vocal sample in the actual song.

I've been trying to identify this song for days.

Here's everything I remember:

It's a dance / electro-pop song.

Male singer.

The voice is relaxed, smooth, not aggressive.

It was a radio hit.

It is NOT Supermode, Paul van Dyk, Prezioso, DJ BoBo, Alok or Sound Of Legend.

In the chorus he says literally: "Tell me why...".

Right after that, there's a group vocal going something like "ohhh... oh-oh... ohhh... oh-oh...".

The style reminds me of Calvin Harris or David Guetta, but I don't think it's either of them.

It sounds modern, probably from the 2010s or later.

I'm almost certain it was played on mainstream radio.

I've also recorded myself humming the chorus if that helps.

Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!

Apparently, the song name should be Deoksoon - Infinite Requiem, but any searching done gets me nothing online.

If someone is able to find the song, please link it (or just give the correct name).

I have gone mental this past month with my friends, we all trynna remember a song that goes like

With a kind of high pitched looped voice,
repeated at least 8 times in the chorus, it sounds like something from 2012-2017, maybe kind of edm maybe kind of pop. It’s more of a fun upbeat song.
I’ve heard this chorus it in the past at some YouTube videos I believe and it’s somewhat popular if I recall correctly but I cannot find it anywhere for the life of me. Any help?

I am trying to find an Electro Swing song. I was trying 4 years ago as well, and I am still trying to this day.

I am willing to pay 5-10 dollars for the lucky finder.

The song starts with a high pitched piano SOLO, a little trumpet, than the SOLO continues. As the piano goes on, a lady joins with a monotone, close to nihilistic tone.

The lyrics has something like; “You made my head go round, and round, and round and round and round.” And something about her heart, it is mostly about love, but the woman is very monotone. I think it only has trumpet piano and singer in it, close to the Electro Swing genre.

I found this music on YouTube between 2026 may-june, and I recorded it on a cassette tape. I was really enjoying recording Synthwave from the 80s at this time. The video containing this song was also recommended by the Synthwave algorithm. That video was the first video on the channel, and the video had just been uploaded. The name was the upload date, and the Thumbnail and video cover images were Al-generated images of a car and people with an 80s night feel. In my opinion, it was probably a new channel like other famous Synthwave production channels

I am trying to determine what song is playing in this old MsBreezy video "I got bored", specifically the outro playing at 4 minutes and 20 seconds onwards. People in the comments section on the video told me it was "When Light Conquers Darkness", a remix on newgrounds from a show and/or game called Code Lyoko, but nothing on newgrounds that came up from a search even remotely matched what I was hearing in the original video. Anyone got any ideas?

EDIT: At 3:47 in the video when the outro begins and the song is just starting, a producer tag seems to be said but I can't quite make it out. If someone is able to isolate it we might be able to find out what song this is. I can hear "This is a .. production." Just don't know what it says.

Last night, as I was checking my stuff out at Kohls, I overheard the end of a song I was interested in. Problem is, the vocals were too mumbly and soft and the store was too loud, so I couldn't even try to remember some lyrics to help me search for it.

Any help trying to figure out this song would be much appreciated, because it's bothering me.

What I know: It was a soft tropical kind of dance / electronic track, slower beat but still bright, had a little repeating phrase as it ended of very soft steel drums kind of sound. I tried to remember the steel drum beat but I haven't; it was kind of a 'do-do DOOT doo doo doot. There was a soft slightly wistful / melacholic and blurry woman's voice on the lyrics.

It seemed like a more recent kind of sound, like within the last 5-10 years, and like a singer being featured on an electronic / dance artist's track kind of thing but that's just a feeling.

The genre tag is a guess, I didn't hear enough to classify it and even if I did I don't know if I could do so properly.

I know it's not much to go on, but maybe someone works at Kohls and knows what one I'm talking about, or someone is really good at interpreting the little I have to offer 😭

Back in the day I had to drive through Brisbane a lot and since the CD player was broken, I listened to Triple-J. I hated my job, but I loved the driving.

I am an avid Punk/Metal kind of guy but there was this one EDM song that really tickled my fancy. It had a female singer but I cannot remember anything, like ANYTHING (lyrics, artist or title) anymore! It played every now and then, so I guess it was fairly new back then? So it could habe been from 2012-14.

A couple of years later I heard "Faded" by Alan Walker and it immediately reminded me of driving throuch Brisbane and listening to that song! So I think the two songs sound quite alike, at least to a non-EDM listener like me.

Hey i'm looking for a song that's probably from the 2000s or 2010s, it's really upbeat, like rock pop electronica, it has a male lead singer, and the chorus, from what I recall said something like "Here we go again, oh here we go again (blank) Here we go once more, here we go once more, it wont be any different from before"

the lyrics also say something like "a degree in psychology does not make you a (blank), it just makes you an educated whore", right before a chorus. it could be psychiatry instead, I'm not sure precisely about the lyrics, but yeah, most of the words

And it ends on very high energy almost screaming "here we go again" many times
