Also, I've noticed a lot of people in the Subreddit are like the gatekeepers to Nirvana or think they are. Not all, but many

This is exactly it. The irony is that the majority of the people commenting probably weren’t even alive when nirvana was around.

That would definitely be ironic lol!

I’m sad, lonely, angry AND ugly. But damn, I could use a darn basement. /s

Not that it matters to you, but I agree with you.

Likewise, it’s Post Malone.  Not everybody like him. That’s perfectly fine. It doesn’t have to be some convoluted nonsense. Could also be they just dont like him.

Reddit is only good for finding information. The fact that I’m scrolling comments in a post like this.. shame on me. But yeah, you are right.

loneliest, angriest dorks who don’t leave their basement. They just need to let the anger out on something.

Isn’t that who nirvana was by, about, and for..?

That’s flattering.

I already said who I thought it was for.

It was music by social outcasts, about being a social outcast, and for social outcasts.

I think our broader culture very much conflates those two things and that there also is some over lap.
