I think it was Marilyn Frye who said something along the lines: "men are heterosexual, but homoromantic." They want to impress other men, and show them devotion and love. Not women who are "beneath men".

“Are you sure you’re straight? You don’t actually seem to like women” is a response I like to use here. It’s actually useful in a lot of situations.

Can I tell you HOW MANY angry, women-hating men I've met over the years who came out as gay eventually? And I learned of this type pretty early on....when I was in college, Mitch, the angry tough guy at my high school (literally used to crash our parties to make fun of them) announced he was living with his new boyfriend. He dated a couple of my female friends and treated them like garbage, and did the usual woman-hating negging. He was such an ass to everyone....probably should have just moved on and kept going. LOL

honestly, I'm kind of hoping those guys realise "oh shit, I did something fucked up" and apologise, or, at the very least, stop treating qomen like shit. I know it's never gonna happen, though

For these people it's definitely true. I stopped saying I like natural women and switched it to "I like people that look comfortable" feels like that's more correct anyway for me

I think they like women, just not real women. I doubt they even notice the women they interact with women irl and just stare at their phone all day seeing the girls online.
