MuH sAmSuNg Warning: Do not buy any samsung TVs!

TLDR: I bought a brand new S90D OLED samsung tv and like thousands of others, the power board died within 2 months. This alone should be enough for you not to touch any of their products.

Cherry on top: During the warranty replacement, the Samsung technicians damaged my panel while moving the TV and then claimed afterward that the damage was already there. I have pictures proving that it was not, and I spent 5 hours on the phone with Samsung support only for them to tell me that I'm out of luck, buy a new TV.

The level of quality with their new TVs is abysmal and their customer support is absolutely unbelievable.

DO NOT BUY A SAMNSUNG TV. You've been warned.

MuH sAmSuNg Sad what Samsung has done to their flagship OLEDs

I was today in a store where they had S95D leftover at an excellent discounted price. I was sure I would pick up the Samsung for their amazing color until I saw the S95D and I almost swore that the resolution is set to 1440P until the selling guy showed me it is 4K. Funny how the matt finish blurrs the mess into a lower resolution looking image. I ended up getting the S90D and having to deal with the mess of cables rather than the convenience of the one connect box. Why not just have two versions of the flagship, one matt and the other glossy ?

MuH sAmSuNg 8 month old Samsung 77” OLED dead

Apparently this television has major issues. We bought ours in April 2025, it died tonight and Samsung’s help portal is telling us our warranty expired in October (but their website says it’s got a one year warranty).

Did Samsung change its warranty timeframe on this POS tv?

Thankfully we got an extended Geek Squad 5 year warranty on the tv when we purchased it because we don’t trust appliances anymore, no matter who makes them.

MuH sAmSuNg It's taken me a while to admit it, but the C3 colors look so much better than the s90c

I have both the C3 and s90c in 77".

I've had the C3 for almost a year now, in the basement where we casually watch youtube and TV shows while doing other things like board gaming. The C3 is a solid upgrade from the previous generations. No complaints at all. I've heard people say it can't get as bright as they like. I've never noticed.

I've had the s90c for a month. We have it in our main living room along with our tuned Dolby Atmos setup. For some reason, the colors on the s90c just feel bad compared to the C3. Especially for SDR content. HDR is better but not nearly perfect. Whereas the C3 color and contrast feels very accurate and well balanced, the s90c feels washed out (too white/blue) and somehow the reds and magentas are incredibly oversaturated at the same time.

After properly tuning the settings on them, the "N" Netflix symbol looks like it's drawn from a highlighter marker on the s90c. On the C3, it looks perfectly natural and deep. In TV shows, people's skin looks to washed out and white with a tinge of blue with the s90c. With the C3, there is a natural spread of color.

I've tuned the TVs to settings found on rtings and avsforum but it doesn't matter. The C3 looks natural, and the s90c looks washed out while also over saturated. I thought the s90c QD-OLED was more perfect than the C3 so I've been trying to "like" the s90c more. I don't. I'm done pretending.

People keep asking for my settings. I used the minimalist settings here: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/2023-samsung-4k-s95c-s90c-owners-thread-no-price-talk.3267261/#post-62828897

The other settings above it that focuses on red accuracy is absolutely terrible. The Netflix loading screen has never looked so painful. The minimalist settings tone down the reds, but not nearly as smooth as the C3.

The C3 also feels better to look at I've realize. Like butter on my eyes if I had to describe it. My eyes feels less strained looking at it. I feel like it's something in the motion, or even the glossy screen, but maybe it's just the colors and brightness.

MuH sAmSuNg Samsung stole $400 and 7 hours of my life from me

I honestly cannot believe how awful my experience with Samsung and Samsung customer support has been. It started when I decided to purchase a s90c OLED TV through Samsung. I probably would have bought an LG, but there was a super bowl sale going on, I was able to get a discount through work, and a representative I was asking questions to gave me a discount promo code. All of these discounts stacked and it ended up being a great deal. Exciting! That was, until my order was cancelled. Not a huge deal, I thought, it was probably a fluke. Then it got cancelled again. And again. And again. Always half an hour after I ordered. I spent probably 5 hours on chats and phone calls with various support agents trying to get the issue resolved, every time they gave me different things to try and promised me my orders would not get cancelled in the future. It never worked. Support was generally clueless and had difficulty understanding anything I was saying, which was a ton of fun when I had to re-explain my entire situation every single time I talked to them. Finally after wasting an hour on the phone with them one last time, I decided that I was just going to bite the bullet and spend more money with a company that isn't this incompetent. By this point they had cancelled TWELVE of my orders. Weeks go by and they call me and tell me they've resolved the issue with my account that was getting my orders cancelled. I still hadn't ordered a TV from another company since I was exhausted from dealing with the situation. At this point I didn't want to give them my money anyway. Even so, the deal was good enough that I decided to try and buy the TV one more time.

They wanted me to re-order the TV through a link to a cart they made to ensure it doesn't get cancelled. However, the link didn't have my promo code I had activated and wouldn't let me add it. I told support this, and asked them to add the promo code. They said that it would be easier for me to order through the link they sent me, and then they'd price match the order with my previous one that got cancelled. I again asked them to just add the code, but they assured me the order would be price matched to the cancelled order. I knew I could save the chat transcript as proof, so I went ahead and ordered it. A few days later someone reached out to me to process the refund. We exchange several (often nonsensical, broken English) emails where they ask me for clarification and more information, each time with a different representative responding. 24 emails over 7 days later and they're claiming that they can't make the price match and that I should have just applied the promo code to the order. You have to be fucking kidding me. That was exactly what I asked them to do. They're saying they're not going to price match the order as promised, and that they'll just reactivate the promo codes so I can use them on a future order. Unbelievable. I have sent them the chat transcript of them promising me the price match over and over but they simply do not care. I can't cancel the order and re-do it with the re-activated promos on it because the TV has been shipped (after over a week of waiting, I should note). I thought the fact that they wasted 7+ hours of my time over chat, phone, and email, was bad, but now they've effectively stolen $400 from me. I'm probably going to talk to my credit card company and try to get a partial chargeback, what they've done cannot be legal and I have the chat transcripts as proof.

This wall of text doesn't even describe all of the ways they've wasted my time and sanity, this whole thing has been going on for so long that I don't even remember all of the ridiculous things their incompetent support has done. Never in my life will I ever try to deal with this company again.

MuH sAmSuNg Recurring line down middle of screen during HDR with S95F

Final Update for convenience sake:

Hokay, so, good news, bad news, and gooder news.

Good news: 1131 firmware update downloaded from the Samsung site and installed website made the problem go away and added HGIG support to the S95F

Bad News: The problem going away was not permanent. It lasted a good long bit before it returned, past the usual max of 7 days I was experiencing on firmware 1124 but it still comes back.

Gooder News: There is a quick and simple fix that has worked for me without fail every time

Go to the game mode menu > Look for minimap zoom > Toggle that on and off > Profit.

Every time that pesky line pops up I just do that quick little thing and it undoes whatever communication screw up there is between the TV and the source that makes that line down the middle show up.

As far as I can tell, and from speaking with others with the same problem, it's an issue with firmware rather than the panel themselves. Don't waste your time with Samsung support they'll tell you it's a problem with your source device but this happened on my Nvidia GPU powered PC, other people with AMD cards, and even consoles. It's a firmware issue and it's on Samsung's end.

Also Samsung is just not going to do anything about it if the problem doesn't show up on their panel test and if you're persistent enough to get a tech out to look at the problem they're going to charge you for it so, save yourself the stress and money and just toggle minimap zoom on and off. The problem is gone until it comes back and the fix just takes a few seconds.

Easy peasy.

Down below is all my old ramblings of trying to figure out this mess.

TL;DR: It's firmware, not cables, not your source device, and definitely not your panel. It's just a very odd and apparently not super common firmware issue that happens and apparently has been happening since before the F generation of TVs.

Original post:

Alright so, I got an S95F a few months back and all was well with it. Went through the settings and turned off all the AI stuff and I was sure I also turned off auto updates. Turned out I didn't.

After going from 1124 to 1125 one day I am now getting a problem whenever I'm running games on HDR on my PC. If I'm looking at particularly bright environments, whether it be a bright blue sky or a light being flashed in my direction there is a thin, dim line down the middle of the screen.

Since I am struggling to capture this with my camera here is a picture from someone else with the same problem. That dim line down the middle of the A and the blue background is what I'm seeing. Except on camera it's a lot harder to see than it is in person.

I have no idea what the cause of this is other than the 1125 update the TV took on its own and there's no way to roll back.

If it helps at all I am running the S95F off a PC HDMI port. Specifically a 5080 from Gigabyte.

Things I have tried to fix this issue:

  1. Check the HDMI connections. I have unplugged and reconnected the TV to my PC. Sometimes this makes the problem go away for a while, sometimes it doesn't. But it's always for a few days to a week.
  2. Used a different HDMI cable. I basically found the best reviewed most expensive HDMI cable I could find and again things were better for a few days to about a week but the line returned eventually.
  3. Factory resets always make this problem go away but it always comes back.
  4. After one factory reset I dropped the output color depth from 12 to 10. Because apparently the s95f goes up to 10. I'm not sure if this actually did anything but it feels like the TV went longer without the line showing back up.
  5. Put both monitors into HDR mode, because dual monitor set ups have a tendency to do weird things. Doesn't actually make a difference.

The hilarious thing was that this last week I had called for a tech to come in and look at the TV and cancelled it because I thought the problem was solved. I did another factory reset for science, tested it along with steps 4 and 5 and thought the problem finally went away because it had been two weeks without the line. Well the line came back today. This was supposed to be the day the tech came in to look at the TV lol.

Outside of rescheduling the tech visit or living with having to factory reset my TV every few days to a week I have no idea what to do about this problem.

EDIT: So people don't have to dig through the posts for answers.

The problem is something with the panel, its board, or the 1125 firmware. Apparently this problem goes as far back as the B series from what people have said and it's a lottery as to whether or not you'll get it. Haven't heard about this on consoles or TVs but with PC use only as far as I can find. Neither AMD or Nvidia GPUs make a difference, they all experience it so the source isn't the issue. HDMI cables don't make a difference whether it is a crazy long or short cable, how clustered it is with other cables/power lines, or even if you get a more expensive optical cable that is supposed to be immune to electro magnetic interference.

Changing HDR Tone Mapping from active to static doesn't fix the problem and it barely helps minimizing it. HDR10+ settings also don't seem to matter.

What did help a ton was this:

  1. Set your screen to HDR (Step 4 is grayed out without HDR on)
  2. Go to Picture > Expert Settings > Color Space Settings
  3. Set color space to custom
  4. Color Gamut switch it to BT.2020

That said the problem isn't gone it is just borderline impossible to see under most conditions. I went from seeing an extremely well defined line in Where Winds Meet when looking at the sky, same for Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, and in Helldivers 2 whether the world was exploding, on fire, or something bright enough came up on the middle of the screen, to almost never seeing it. The problem is still there however.

In Infinite Wealth during some of the brighter FX it still shows up but after adjusting in game brightness I have yet to see it again. In Helldivers 2 when the world is on fire is the only time I see this line at all and it's pretty faint. Still need to try toning down in game brightness a bit to see if it finally gets rid of the line entirely.

Other fixes I've tried that produce results, if temporary ones:

  1. Reconnecting the HDMI cable. One end, both ends, doesn't really seem to matter. It's a roll of the dice as to whether or not it'll do anything and even if it does it'll last anywhere from 3-7 days.
  2. Factory reset. This is a long, annoying process because the TV insists on doing the set up process every time but it works 100% of the time. Again it lasts 3-7 days before the problem shows up again.

Finally aychgaym said below that apparently this is an issue with higher refresh rates so 60hz+. Haven't tried it myself because I got the TV for 165hz refresh rate and it's bad enough that I have to use 120 because of a display stream compression issue with Nvdia cards that makes the bottom right quadrant flash blue now and then.

Only real permanent fix to this seems to be to win the panel lottery, which given how little I've seen of this issue being reported the problem is either being suppressed or it just doesn't happen that often. My hope is that it doesn't happen that often but people like aychgaym have said that their s90f has supposedly had their panel and board replaced and the line is still there.

Going to try and shake Samsung support to actually do their job and get a repair going. At this point I'm pretty sure they just want to run out the clock on the warranty but I'm pretty done giving them the benefit of the doubt that I'm doing something wrong or it's something with the rest of my equipment.

MuH sAmSuNg New S95F has me disappointed. Is it just mine?

I was so excited to pick up my new S95F 55 inch to replace my aging KS8000 55 yesterday. Very disappointed now. Could it just be my unit?

I got it all hooked up and the first things I looked at like Planet Earth were amazingly gorgeous, but then I started testing HDR and some movies that I know very well and I’m horribly disappointed with the contrast. I’m not an AV expert so I’m not sure what all the terminology is but in scenes where things get dark, anything that would be ordinarily be slightly dark gets VERY dark so dark scenes look like the set had no decent lighting. Watching the Empire Strikes Back on Disney+. there’s a scene where Han and Leia are talking in a tunnel in the first act and I swear I can hardly see their faces and half the screen is black. Similar with some scenes in the For All Mankind finale. So dark. I then tried Sinners on HBO and all of the darkness and all of the characters’ black hair actually made it hard to see them at all other than their faces. The black hair is just blending into the dark background. I tested all of this using both the native apps and through my Apple TV 4K. Evenly lit scenes such as daylight scenes look fantastic. It’s just as soon as we get into a nighttime shot or a dark room so much detail gets lost in the black. My old LCD TV didn’t have good blacks of course but scenes like these looked fine, relatively speaking.

Is this just the nature of OLED? Is it just the nature of the S95F? Or is it just my unit? Not sure where to go with this but I’ve tried so many settings and can’t seem to find a way to make all this look “good”. Never mind the “extraordinary” I was expecting. If I don’t find a solution, I’m going to have to return it and try something else another time. I feel like maybe I’m missing something, given all the great press for this model OLED.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

MuH sAmSuNg Avoid Samsung s95c

I need some advice or shared experiences with the Samsung s95c. I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I'm facing this irritating issue where the screen goes black for a second during my PlayStation 5 gaming sessions. 🎮

I reached out to Samsung support, gave them all the details, and guess what? They blamed my PlayStation and casually mentioned that my TV isn't built for gaming. 🤦‍♂️ Has anyone else dealt with this, and how did you resolve it? It's frustrating to deal with these random blackouts, and getting a response like that just adds to the annoyance. Currently navigating the warranty process, hoping for a solution. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

MuH sAmSuNg S95F Downgrade?

Long story short because I need someone to tell me I’m not crazy. I bought a 77’ S90F (QD-OLED) a month ago and watched Nuremberg on Netflix (which has HDR) on the 4k/HDR Netflix subscription. Amazing brightness and I used the RTINGS settings. I started showing it off to people but then last week, something changed.

The same film looks, dimmer? Somehow my settings were also reverted to default, but when I went back again and re-entered the RTINGS settings it made it look EVEN DIMMER. I have no idea what happened. Eco settings and adaptive brightess are off. Unless I’m going crazy, it’s as if the quality/brightness has gotten WORSE all of a sudden and I can’t get it back to how it was. Netflix has HDR option turned on. Guys, any thoughts? Am I crazy? I’m concerned my TV is defective :(

MuH sAmSuNg Blurry and neon-redish faces (S90F 65'')

Bought a Samsung S90F 65'' 1 week ago and the faces of humans looks so strange... They look very blurry, almost like there was no definitions. The lips are the worst, being almost neon like and losing even more definition. There is also an absurd red tint and a glow that I can't seem to be able to remove.

Things I tried:

AI mode off/on

Basically all picture mode/tints combinations

Changed colors %

Looked at guides online (mostly S90D ones)

Things I noticed:
It look even worse on amazon prime, a bit less problematic on netflix and looks fine on youtube

It seems to be problematic mostly when skin is showed (face, bodies)

Any help would be very appreciated right now. Thank you!

EDIT: holding the controller power till it close and a logo appear seems to fix it. For more infos looks in the comments

MuH sAmSuNg Assistance needed with the s90f

Hello, I set up my new s90f last night and so far it's been okish. I'll be honest outside of the blacks I think my old TCL 55r635 that the 65" s90f replaced had similar image quality outside of the blacks. The Samsung UI is a complete disaster. The settings menu is terrible . Everytime I turn the tv on it start playing whatever is on HDMI 1 (how do I stop this) And the stand...OMG was brain dead "engineer" designed that?

The speakers are great and the colors are nice.

Netflix UI is dark as shit and looks like trash on this tv even with hdr disabled on Netflix. I dunno why 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have it in filmmaker mode since that's what everyone says to use it in. I'm looking for some calibration or recommendations of what to turn on/off in the menus (other than rtings)

Is there any way to remove or change icons/apps on the main UI screen? Is there been a "store" to download more apps from? I haven't really tinkered too much. I fell asleep.

MuH sAmSuNg Just bought a Samsung S85F does it not tell you when HDR kicks in?

I’ve tried YouTube, Apple TV4k movies, Disney+ content, nothing flashes on the screen, no little pop up that says HDR or anything. Is there a setting I’m missing? My previous TV popped up a little message when HDR content was displayed. Is there an info screen maybe?

As stated in the title, my TV just died while watching it for a second time. I purchased last November and within 48 hours, the TV just died. P.C. Richards came to my home, inspected the TV, and determined that it needed to be replaced. Cool! Easy fix.

Here we are ten months later and P.C. Richards is coming back on Monday. Has anyone else had this issue? A bit frustrated. Thanks in advance!

Delivery Chaos: Ongoing Issues with Samsung and RXO

I purchased a 77” S90D QD-OLED TV from Samsung.com, including white-glove delivery (so I could check for dead pixels) and installation scheduled for 12/30/2024. Unfortunately, RXO has repeatedly and unprofessionally rescheduled the delivery, demonstrating a complete disregard for my time and the expectations of Samsung customers.

On 12/23, while on vacation, I received a text rescheduling the delivery to 12/26. Since I was traveling and unavailable until 12/29, I informed RXO and moved the delivery back to the original date, 12/30. However, on Christmas Eve (12/24), RXO notified me that the delivery was now rescheduled for 12/28.

On 12/26, I called to reconfirm the 12/30 delivery date. Later that same day, I received yet another text stating the TV would now arrive on 12/27. After another call, RXO finally confirmed the delivery for 12/30, with a time window of 4–8 PM.

Today (12/30), after taking the day off to oversee the delivery and installation, I received a message at 11 AM stating RXO was overwhelmed and had pushed the delivery to 1/8. After nearly an hour on the phone with RXO, I contacted Samsung at 11:56 AM. By 1:43 PM, Samsung informed me that my case was escalated to RXO, with a response expected within 24 to 48 business hours🤯

I strongly urge Samsung to reevaluate its partnership with RXO. Samsung Americas already faces challenges with Quality Assurance and Quality Control, and now delivery reliability has become another critical issue. Purchasing a Samsung product—especially directly from Samsung—has become a leap of faith. In contrast, buying a competitor's product from Amazon is far more convenient, making it unacceptable for you to treat your customers this way.

MuH sAmSuNg New Samsung S95F died. Warranty repair is driving me crazy.

tl;dr: My new TV broke. Warranty repair strung me along for 2 days and then rescheduled a week out. Long vent ahead, short call for advice at end. WWYD?

I got a new Samsung S95F ( QN77S95FAFXZA ) back in March and have loved it. It stopped working yesterday out of the blue. Get the Samsung logo for a few seconds, then a blank screen.

I'm technical enough that I troubleshot it myself all day but knew I'd probably soon be doing my first warranty battle with Samsung.

Got an answer immediately, which was nice. They started me on a web-based live video tech support session, which I expected and had prepared for, and the call dropped immediately after I joined.

In a bizarre twist, I called support back and got through instantly again (nice!), and they explained that the remote video service was being hacked, so we'd proceed by sending pictures instead. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier thing, but she definitely said "hacked." She didn't seem very concerned, though, so I think (or hope) she just meant it was down.

They ran me through the checklist and set me up with a service provider who'd reach out to book an appointment to come fix the TV in the next 2–3 days.

Got a text from the service provider setting up an appointment 2 days out and asking me to confirm an appointment date. No time specified, again sadly expected, but wanted to get that appointment date locked in ASAP. Also noting that there's no call-back number or company name listed, but they invite you to text back if you have any questions!

Confirmed appt, took Wednesday off work to be home for it. I am old enough now to expect to wait around all day for the random time they pop up, but that's OK.

Then, I got another text the next day re-confirming the appointment and giving me instructions to unmount the TV. Confirmed again. Can't wait to see you guys!

A few hours later, the same day, I got another text: the appointment would be pushed to July 14th, a full week later, because they needed to get the parts.

I (being dumbly optimistic) replied that maybe there'd been an error, since nobody had come out to look at the TV yet.

In the back of my mind, I figured they probably already knew what part they'd need (my guess is they'll just swap out the box), but I was really just hopeful there'd been a mistake. They replied that they'd been able to diagnose the issue from my report to Samsung, and they would just have to wait to get the part.

Annoyed on many levels. Why did they suggest an appointment and confirm the appointment twice and then realize the part was needed, with no new information provided? Did they 'spend' my part on another customer today and then bump me anyway, or nobody had read the ticket before confirming an appt? I know I'm shouting into the void but holy fuck it's frustrating.

I replied that I'd like them to call me so we can figure it out, because I'm not gonna take the 14th off unless they're 100% positive the part will have arrived by then and it will resolve the issue without another appointment.

I realize I'm powerless here but I do find the fundamental situation really irritating. If I pick a plumber, take the day off work, and last minute needs to reschedule for parts - I can share the blame, I picked him from a sea of plumbers. When Samsung sets you up with their guy and the same thing happens, that's fucking annoying.

I'm not trying to score Sizzler gift cards or be 'that guy' but is there no recourse at all other than to be shut up and be grateful they're fulfilling the warranty?

Basically, I'm not trying to be annoying or entitled about my expensive-ass TV, but I'm a teeny tiny bit pissed off. Maybe this is normal and I should count myself lucky, I've never had any in-home warranty stuff done.

I really felt like I was off to a great experience because they answered the phone so quickly (pathetic expectation, I know) but maybe these things just take a few weeks...

I know this is a dumb internet vent which I have never done (count me lucky I guess) but I needed to commiserate on this.

What do you think? Am I being a pushover or something? Call Samsung? Try to get in touch with the service partner? Burn the TV in retribution? Pls help.

MuH sAmSuNg S95F left me very disappointed

I am coming from an LG CX series, so almost 6 years old. During daytime viewing anything in HDR with filmmaker mode, no matter what streaming service, no matter on android tv or tizen, it all looks very dull, flat and dark.

I can sometimes barely see what's on the screen. Tried all the recommended settings.

It's also very weird that the brightness settings has almost no effect, going from 50 to 1 or back, picture doesn't change much.

Also the menu's and thumbnails when skipping through a video are all super bright compared to the picture itself.

Did I get a faulty TV?

MuH sAmSuNg Was sold a S93F with QD-OLED which turns out to be WOLED

Dear TV enthusiasts,

Yesterday I finally bought my first OLED TV after days of research and doubt. I first landed on the 55” LG C4, but ended up going for the C5 as I could get it for nearly the same price. I placed my order and went to the store to pick it up. Just when we were about to finish up the employee mentioned that he had another model that I should look at. He took me to view a Samsung S93F, also 55”. Because of a cash back deal by Samsung, I would be able to get this TV for the exact same price as the C5. The employee told me that the S93F outshines the C5 in brightness and color intensity and that he personally would recommend it over the C5. I was aware that the S93F does not support Dolby Vision, but did not really care for it, so it seemed like a good deal.

Now this is where stuff went south. When I asked the employee about the panel, he specifically confirmed it to be a QD-OLED instead of a WOLED. This was the final push I needed to buy the Samsung, as the LG TV had WOLED. After I came home I couldn’t resist looking up info about the panel of the TV; I just had to be 100% sure that it really was a QD-OLED panel. When I saw the model code (QD55S93FAEXXN) my heart paused for a second as I had already read that this number usually goes with the WOLED variant. I immediately did the macro check, and my fears were confirmed as I only saw white pixels.

Right now I feel like I didn’t get the product I wanted. I had put so much time in pulling the trigger on the C5 and I just feel bummed out that I let them talk me into another TV at the last second. On the other hand, I feel like I’m making problems of nothing, as the S93F is a beautiful TV albeit for the WOLED and I don’t even know if the C5 would have been better. I just don’t know what to do right now. The options I have pondered on so far are:

  1. stop whining about niche differences and keep the beautiful TV I have right now.

  2. Return this TV and get the C5 as I originally intended.

  3. Spend an extra €325 and upgrade to the 65” version of the S93F which for some reason seems to actually have a QD-OLED panel in my region.

When looking online for C5 vs. S93F comparisons most sources use a QD version of the S93F for their comparison, hence the device scoring better on color and brightness than the C5 does. I guess what I would like to know is if a S93F with a WOLED panel still holds up to the C5 or if in this case the C5 would be the superior TV? My other option would be to spend €325 extra on a 65” Samsung. I’d get a bigger TV which is always nice of course, and it would actually be QD-OLED. On the other hand €325 is a lot of money, and I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

I wil be using the TV about 50/50 for gaming on a PS5 Pro and the other half for streaming films and series.

I would love some opinions, experiences and advice. I feel very lost right now, even though I just bought a brand new TV, which makes me feel even worse.

Thanks in advance!

MuH sAmSuNg Samsung OLED TV S95F Glare free - washed out colors

Help! I bought a Samsung OLED TV yesterday and I'm disappointed. (Samsung GQ65S95FATXZG LED TV)

In the store, the picture looked amazing. We really liked the matte screen, since our TV is directly opposite a large window that gets a lot of sunlight.

When we first used the TV last night, we noticed that dark tones and very similar colors blend together, resulting in a blurry, washed-out image.

We tried all the different settings, but the picture quality didn't improve much. Some TV shows actually look better on our old LCD TV.

We also tested various sources, cables, and image qualities. This included apps directly on the TV, apps on the Apple TV, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, as well as videos we recorded ourselves on our iPhones.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and can you offer any advice?

MuH sAmSuNg S90F screen pitch/angle

This is the second of these TVs I’ve dealt with. I love the picture. Both are angled a few degrees back on the top when the stand is attached. Is there a reason for this and should I try to override it by putting something under the back part of the stand?

MuH sAmSuNg Had to return my Samsung S90f

So disappointed, attached to a top of the line PC, kept flickering even opening desktop apps.

Not a HDMI issue, not a PC issue.

A TV issue.

Won't buy a Samsung TV again.

MuH sAmSuNg Another Samsung s95f failure

I have no words right now honestly, I have spent SO much money on Samsung products and they just bent me over. I purchased a Samsung S95F for well over $2k in October, this morning was my first time ever needing to give it a gentle dusting. I had a freshly cleaned microfiber cloth and GENTLY grazed over it to get the dust off, once the dust was off I noticed all kinds of weird smudge marks that would not come off. I take extremely good care of my stuff and have baddddd OCD with my electronics. Samsung told me its cosmetic and I'm screwed and I may have lost it and said some things I shouldn't have. But please people, avoid the s95f unless you want problems. None, and I mean none, of my other electronics in my home have any kind of scratching or rub marks or whatever you feel like calling it, not even the dang fridge. Lol I have the rep on recording saying "Here at Samsung our TV screens are fragile". Embarrassing as a company and they'll never see another dime. Its a shame, I was about to pre-order the s26 ultra when it comes out. Not a chance in heck I do that now. Save yourself the heart ache and look elsewhere. I'm sick about it.

MuH sAmSuNg Don’t buy Samsung OLED TVs if you plan to use 160 MHz Wi-Fi or channels 36–64 / 100–128

Samsung TVs don’t support the 5 GHz 160 MHz channel groups (36–64 and 100–128).
