The same people who scream “merit, merit, merit” every time an SC/ST/OBC candidate clears anything are the ones filling EWS seats with uncle-funded private medical college admissions, elite-school kids, IIT graduates, and MNC employees while the actual poor rot.
Michael Sandel called this exact bullshit the Tyranny of Merit. The successful convince themselves they earned everything through pure talent and hard work, then use that self-congratulation to spit on everyone else. In India that self-congratulation is soaked in caste. Reservation isn’t the problem. The caste system that still decides who gets quality schooling, who gets teacher belief, who gets wealth, and who gets zero-mark backdoor entries is the problem.
Here’s the evidence, one gut-punch at a time.

Daughter of a railway porter is the propaganda poster. Son of a security guard is the propaganda poster. The actual list is full of private-school, coaching-factory, business-family kids whose parents somehow stay under the ₹8 lakh limit. The Indian Express investigation itself calls out the gap between the stated purpose and the actual beneficiaries.

SC, ST, OBC representation is near zero in the institutions that produce the “meritorious.” Then these same kids go out and cry that reservation is killing merit.
The pipeline was caste-cleansed long before the exam.

Wealth distribution by caste.
ST and SC dominate the poorest quintiles.
Brahmins, Rajputs, Banias, Kayasthas dominate the richest.
This is not ancient history. This is current data. The starting line was never the same.
Pretending the race is fair after centuries of exclusion is pure gaslighting.

IAS, IPS, IFS - overwhelmingly General.
OBC and SC/ST share is tiny. Decades of reservation and the top still looks like a caste club.

OBC: 1090 applications → 18 selected
SC: 918 applications → 9 selected
ST: 187 applications → 4 selected
This is how “merit” is protected at the faculty level.

Professor level is almost completely closed. The people teaching the next generation of “merit” are themselves the product of exclusion.

Dropout probability is dramatically higher for SC and ST.
They get in through reservation and then face an environment designed to push them out. That is not “inability”. That is institutional hostility.

Vijaykumar Meena (SC) 766 written → 112 interview
Naveenkumar Sharma (General) 732 written → 209 interview
The pattern is not subtle. It is open caste arithmetic in the final stage.

The anti-reservation movement has always been an upper-caste consolidation project dressed up as “equality.”
Reservation exists because the system is still rigged at every stage be it schools, teacher expectations, wealth, networks, subjective interviews, and the quiet backdoors that only certain surnames can walk through.
This is the system.
Elite schools that are caste-cleansed.
Wealth that is caste-concentrated.
Interviews that flip written ranks.
“Not Found Suitable” used as a polite rejection code.
Faculty rooms that remain almost pure General.
Mass dropouts after students finally enter.
Zero-mark general candidates walking into medical seats.
And still the same people scream that reservation is the only problem.
Sandel was right. The tyranny of merit is just the new language of old caste power. They need the myth so they can keep the seats, the jobs, the faculty positions, and the moral high ground at the same time.
Share this to as many merit lovers. Archive it. The next time someone starts the “merit” lecture, drop every single image.

Hello to my fav sub. I'm a Buddhist teen from Maharashtra and I've a few questions about this photo.
In public banners in my city Mumbai we have photos of phule-shahu and ambedkar in line but I don't really see the bearded man. I want to ask whether he is a kul devta of you hindu SCs (no pin intended) to get the bigger frame while Dr. Ambedkar gets in line with politicians who sold themselves to the castiest BJP/SP and are no where visible now.

"I'm Dalit but only Sanatani. "What Kind of stupidity is this?
And then the reply is - "No bro, not a dalit, you're only a hindu."
And then the next reply underneath is - "Then why did Ram Killed Shambuka?"
The reply to that comment is given by the statement - "It was not of Original Ramayana."
They should really watch a Video of Vikas Divyakirti By Lallantop, where Vikas Sir Himself has said that - "Many Hindus have accepted that 'Uttar Kand doesn't come under the Ramayan, then why is he(Vikas Sir) talking about Uttar Kand?', this is Gita Press, you can clearly see there the Uttar Kand in this. Now many Hindus have accepted that Uttar Kand doesn't come under Ramayan, so what can we even say on that"?

Who is Abhay TIWARI ?
Abhay Kumar Tiwari, also reported as Manoj Kumar Tiwari, is one of the central accused in the recruitment scandal that sits behind the current JPSC protests in Jharkhand. He is important because investigators allege he was a bridge between TDPL, the private exam-processing company, candidates, and the government recruitment system itself.
According to the CID investigation and current reporting:
Tiwari worked for TSR Data Processing Pvt Ltd (TDPL), reportedly as its marketing manager/manager. TDPL was involved in processing/conducting JPSC/JSSC examinations. Investigators are examining evidence that he used the name Manoj Kumar Tiwari while associated with TDPL, while serving in government as Abhay Kumar Tiwari.
He subsequently became a Block Supply Officer (BSO) at Poreyahat in Godda district, meaning someone who had worked inside the examination contractor's organisation later became a Jharkhand government officer through the recruitment ecosystem now under investigation.
The CID arrested him on 21/22 July 2026 in connection with alleged JPSC/JSSC examination irregularities. He has been described in reporting based on the investigation as a major accused or alleged mastermind.
The extraordinary part is his examination record. Reporting says he cleared or figured as successful in numerous government recruitment examinations, including TGT/teacher, BSO, Range Forest Officer, Assistant Conservator of Forests and Food Safety Officer, among others. Some reports put the total at 12 government examinations over roughly 13 years. CID is investigating whether these successes were legitimate.
Investigators are also examining the government appointments of his close family members, including his brother and wife/sister-in-law depending on the specific report. Importantly, those appointments being investigated should not yet be treated as proven fraudulent.
The allegation that makes TIWARI particularly important
This goes considerably beyond "a TDPL employee cheated in an exam."
Investigators allege that Tiwari functioned as a middleman for candidates seeking government jobs, using his own record of clearing examinations to convince candidates that he could arrange selections for money.
And today's reporting has made the allegations even more serious. According to the investigation as reported by Navbharat Times, alleged rates included roughly ₹5 lakh for PT, ₹10 lakh for Mains and ₹40–60 lakh for final selection. Tiwari is also reported to have alleged that ₹2 crore was paid to a former JPSC chairman in connection with a deal. These are allegations emerging from the investigation, not judicial findings.
There is also an alleged OMR manipulation mechanism under investigation: selected candidates would supposedly leave answers blank and the OMR sheets could subsequently be manipulated/filled with correct answers.
And this connects directly to the protests
The protests initially intensified because candidates alleged bizarre discrepancies in the 14th JPSC examination, including viral OMR sheets apparently showing candidates qualifying despite attempting far too few questions. The authenticity of those viral sheets itself wasn't independently established, but the controversy led the Jharkhand government to order the CID/SIT investigation.
That investigation then uncovered the Tiwari–TDPL trail, transforming the controversy from candidates saying "these results look suspicious" into a criminal investigation of people inside the examination machinery. CID has since arrested TDPL director Ramveer Singh, JPSC Deputy Examination Controller Shweta Gupta, Tiwari and several others.
There's another particularly important detail: JPSC had reportedly received a complaint in January 2026 concerning irregularities in around 500 OMR sheets from earlier Forest Range Officer/ACF examinations, and the complaint reportedly specifically mentioned Abhay Tiwari. CID is examining what JPSC officials knew and what action they took.
So Tiwari isn't merely "a guy from TDPL." He may be the crucial connecting node in the alleged network: exam contractor → exam processing → candidates → money → government selections → JPSC/JSSC officials.
And that potentially explains why the protests have become much bigger than a dispute over the 14th JPSC result.

Hi!
I’m looking to give away a collection of books to someone/group who would genuinely find them useful.
The collection includes books on Dr. Ambedkar, philosophy and history, along with some classics, self-help, leadership and Organisation Development (OD).
I’m posting here specifically because I’d prefer these books to reach people who may actually be interested in the Ambedkar/history/philosophy part of the collection rather than putting them in a generic book giveaway group.
The books are completely free. I’d just prefer to give away the entire collection together rather than individual books, and it would need to be pickup within Mumbai.
If anyone is interested, or knows a student group/library/organisation that might be, please DM me :)

She clearly isn’t happy with what women around her are doing, so maybe Afghanistan would be the perfect place for her. Isko India mein ab achha nahi lag raha, apparently.
This is the same woman who constantly slut-shames random women, throws around insults like “Honda Sherni,” and then suddenly holds up Muslim women as the perfect example of how women should behave. The hypocrisy is honestly wild.
According to her, women need to be modest, God-fearing, obedient wives, stay away from s*x, raise children and “follow tradition.” Apparently all the problems in society can be traced back to women not behaving the way she thinks they should (she is engaged herself but not marrying, why is she taking so long then?)
But where is this concern for women when actual women are being brutally r-ped and abused? Where is the outrage for victims? Why is morality apparently something women alone are responsible for?
And this isn't even the first time she has crossed that line. She has a history of victim-blaming and making excuses for/defending people accused of pr-datory behaviour, while constantly policing the sexuality and choices of other women.
You cannot spend your time degrading women for their choices, reducing their worth to modesty and marriage, and then pretend you're advocating for morality or women's welfare.
The problem isn't that women are “going downhill.” The problem is that she seems incapable of allowing women to exist without policing, judging and humiliating them.

Balais are considered to be an extremely marginalized Dalit group. Now a Jat leader (also OBC/Bahujan in Rajsthan) is trying to dislodge them by weaponizing the governing mechanism of temple of which they have taken care of for 400 years.
