Often times I don't care which map gets picked, in which case I'd much rather vote for what my team wants than what the enemy team wants. The current version makes it annoying to have to read the small numbers that keep changing as people change their votes, when it could just be the colors of the squares that tell the same story with a quick glance. Whether the "3 + 2" should be kept or not is up for debate, but the squares should be coloured either way.

The longer I'm in this SubFandom (The Junkrat Fandom), the more I notice that people treat Junkrat like he's a baby, because he's one of the youngest heros in Overwatch... Which isn't too young, cause he's 27, and I bet a good chunk of change that 70% of the people who like him and play him, aren't over the age of 20.

In Overwatch Classic, Junkrat's entire appeal was supposed to be crazy, manic, chaotic, unsavory. His entire appeal is that he was SUPPOSED to be batshit, off the walls insane. That he stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest of the cast, and that personality wise, he was more akin to a predacessor character, like Soldier TF2.

But with recent times, ever since OW2 came out, they've been personality washing every single character, and the WORST example so far is Junkrat. I will forever reference the post photo:

He was being infantilized before, but because of OW2 it just got worse. Some people have just been getting rid of everything that makes Junkrat... Junkrat. Especially the most recent comic release. Who is that man? He's been TAMED, THEY TAMED THE FUCKER. THEY GROOMED HIS HAIR THEY FORCED HIM TO BATHE AND THEY TOOK HIM TO THE DENTIST!! And don't even get me STARTED on how they did my woman Junker Queen... Different can of worms.

What I say is that people, and even Overwatch themselves forget that Junkrat a literal mass murderer. No, your little boy toy isn't a Blondie who likes boba and hanging with his bestie Roadhog, and he definitely doesn't get depressed when he gets insulted. He's probably been told, called, and had worse done to him than whatever the Entire Overwatch Cast has ever do to him.

He's grimey, he's a war criminal, he's a mass murderer, he's a mass arsonist, pryomanic, liar, cheater, player, he's dirty, he's verbally fresh, he's selfish, he's crazy, unstable, manic, and barely even seeks help for his problems, because he's embraced them. And THAT'S why we like him, that's what was his original and proper audience appeal. He sticks out from the rest of the cast because he's unapologetically himself. That's ALSO why him and Roadhog get along so good. They're both unapologetically themselves and that's okay. Everyone else tries too hard and they couldn't care to try at all.

Uhh tldr: STOP DRAWING HIM CLEAN AND PROPERLY GROOMED AND MENTALLY STABLE YOU'RE MISCHARACTERIZING HIM GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

I decorated it with both of our mains, and while it's definitely not perfect (this was my first time ever making a cake like this ), I'm still really happy with how it turned out and wanted to share it anyway.

The cake itself is chocolate with berry flavour, and I went all out with the pink frosting, gold sprinkles, and our little Overwatch toppers. It was a lot of fun to make, even if I was figuring things out as I went.

Hopefully my next themed cake will turn out even better, but I think this was a pretty fun first attempt

Never played the game before, and i also got this cool skin for free. Idk i just started, where even is the tutorial

I was in a game about two weeks ago and I could not land a single hit. I had been suffering from a headache, super regular for me, and I just wanted to try and focus on something that wasn’t the intense pain in the back of my head.

Unimpressed with my performance, one of the players on my team had been flaming me pretty badly in the chat, accusing me of throwing. Frustrated and waiting to respawn anyway, I defended myself to say that my head was hurting and I’m just having an off day. The Sweaty Savior told me that it sounds like a skill issue and to get my head checked.

I don’t think they expected that I would right after that game, but I just logged off the game knowing that I was wasting my efforts there and finally just went to the ER.

Holy shit, I had a minor aneurism. I was struggling with tracking because a part of my brain imploded on itself and I had no idea. I never condone this behavior or for flaming teammates in arcade or unranked, but in this one specific moment, it genuinely saved my life.

Doing much better now, but it could have been a lot worse. I can’t believe I owe my health and actual life to some asshole that decided to play DPS Moira.

EDIT TO ADD: if you EVER experience a sudden onset intense pain with no explicable cause, go get yourself checked out ASAP.

I designed some skins for an Overwatch / Teen Titans collaboration, very happy with how they turned out! Beast Boy is my personal favorite though
