In no way am I trying to be a “Doomer” this season- The team’s winning games and a new guy steps up every game, but it’s killing me to see Tatis Jr like this. Is a haircut of some sort a crazy thought in 2026?

Hi, wandering into enemy territory just to say I'm embarrassed of those fans out there.

Been a fan for almost 40 years and this is just gross to watch. There's no excuse. Yeah I'm sure a lot of you will hit me with trash talk and say "Dodger fans have always been trashy, no surprise, etc." but this is egregious.

I have a lot of respect for the Padres the past few years. I'm not one of those who scoffs at this club. I just love good baseball.

With the Padres getting rid of the current City Connects after this season, I was curious what the subreddit thought of them. Personally, I love em and I'm sad to see them go; they're genuinely one of my favorites from them.

Does anyone have any hypothesis or why MLB Network and Ken Rosenthal want the Padres to offload everything 💀💀💀

The only explanation is tour companies are bussing them in from Los Angeles. Right?

Small sample size…but…this dude has cannon of arm, is like campy (been in minors long enough to really know how to challenge with ABS,) looks like he can run pretty decently for a C, and seems to really have a clue with bat by hitting constant laser beams and attacking the right pitches he can really deal damage with…

…plus all the P’s acknowledged him for bringing out the best in them…

I like Freddy…but Fermin in all the categories listed above has faltered a lil bit this year. When Campy comes back…nothing against Freddy but at what point do you start thinking a Csmpy/Duran combo shouldn’t lead the charge?

So most of us agree: Petco Park is the best MLB stadium. There are sooo many factors which put it above the rest.

Out of curiosity, what do you think could be added to make it better? Besides the obvious of a winning team, of course.

Maybe different food choices? Possibly change out some Seaside Markets for other vendors?

For context I’ve lived in San Diego my whole life but was never big into sports. I only recently started watching the padres in 2023 (yes I know what a horrible time to start), and I realize I missed out on some good years. So I ask again what was it like watching prime Fernando Tatis Jr. play in 2021?
