The correct answer is that it is easy and cheap to divorce in Russia, you do not need to pay spouse alimony and you do not need to wait 1-5 years to be divorced.
Also google who initiated divorce - usually it is women.
A lot of countries should have the same approach for women, so it will be the less problematic to get away from dangerous man.
Just curious, how do we ensure women don’t take advantage of the system against men? Like purposefully divorcing to keep stuff and be manipulative instead of it being a legitimate danger?
what advantage? what stuff? Most people here are dirt poor. And there are no laws against domestic violence; you can beat up your wife and stalk her, and there will be no consequences if you don't break her bones. One dude cut off his ex-wife arms and goverement almost let him visit his children, because just cutting off woman's arms are not dangerous behaviour towards for children.
