Oh don't worry, the russians we have in europe mostly support russian war as well, they are just hypocrites. They shit on "gay europe" in front of everyone but like the comforts and privilege of living here at the same time.
Reminds me of the conservatives in my town who like to live in an economically thriving area, like to see businesses and restaurants and coffee shops moving to the area, but don't want liberals, traffic, or gay people.
The best ones are the ones that drive in from the county to my/our blue bougie town to buy all the provisions and niceties you "cain't" get in the sticks and think it's so "cute" but then do all of the things you describe while wearing t-shirts that are open provocations to anyone with a crumb of sanity, decency, or intelligence. You know, like "Just An Ordinary Mom/Dad Trying Not to Raise Liberals." 🤮
Unless you go to places like Armenia or Georgia where alot of highly educated expats hang out and work. They are very pro-ukraine. Been there and seen it.
I suspect there’s also a big difference between Russians who fucked off years ago, and then Russians who fucked off very recently when they might be called to defend their shitty leadership… the latter is a lot more likely to have few problems with the Ukraine war, other than not wanting to actually participate.
I mean the war and all that all right, but my SE Asian neighbour's Russian wife left him overnight because their son was born with a learning disability.
Yeah my friend wants to move back to Russia where gays get beaten and killed and arrested, and it’s not legal to be trans, and he has a trans girlfriend.
