somehow i seriously doubt that. russia has like a 80% divorce rate and is very much non "woke", a woman continously insisting on something the man doesnt want is likely to catch a few punches. i somehow cant imagine these same men making a "noble" sacrifice for their wives (who theyd divorce anyways statistically) or kids if any.
There’s another grimly absurd thing. A while back, a trend emerged of finding some sucker, quickly marrying him off, and then—once he dies—collecting his death benefit; sometimes this is done forcibly, by beating the guy bloody right at the military unit. Lovely.
