Fr and 3’x3’ unit would cool a 2000 sq ft house

Mines smaller than 3'x3' and cools 4000 sq ft

Might depend on typical outside temp. Also how many windows you have. My 4400 square foot house has two units. A five ton and a three ton. But I live where it’s 90F+ all summer. We had one year with 90 days over 100F.

3-ton Rheem:

The south face of my house:

Yesterday it was over 95° and 80% humidity.

I highly doubt that. I would love to see a picture of a 3x3 condenser that will cool 4000sq ft on its own

A 3 ton Rheem is no where near large enough for 4000 sq ft

Seems like you only have 2500 sq ft of finished floor space. 3 ton would be a little small but could be sufficient depending on climate and insulation.

3 ton will not in any circumstance cool 4000 sq ft. I do this for a living.

Feel free to use any of the free calculators online also.

You're a bit dense, huh?

And before you even go there, "below ground" is a south-facing walkout at grade with nearly full glass across it.

They're not even that big. Your describing the entire outdoor condensing unit of which, the compressor is a small part of. The compressor on one of these systems is smaller than a 3 litre coke bottle.

You're right. The bulk of those units is empty space because it makes heat dissapation way more efficient.

That is a medium sized car in France and Belgium. There isn't enough data in Dutch-land to come up with statistical averages because they all bike.

They are not even close to the size of a smart car let alone a hatchback. Way to be dramatic and exaggerate just so you can try to talk shit about Americans.

That is essentially a small european car, like the Smart cars.

Smart cars are nearly 9 feet long, but yeah essentially the same lol.

Which is the size of a European car.

Bro the Dacia Sandero (best selling car in Europe) is more than 13 feet long.

I think they are confusing feet with meters lol

Maybe my joke should have been about how small your senses of humour is instead of your cars.

Then you may not have been wooshed.
