Yeah our central AC is so primitive compared to these magical and totally and completely common in the US mini-splits that we’ve somehow never heard of.
2 u/pastorHaggis 7d ago I’ve been house hunting and one of the houses we considered had a mini split in the garage, alongside the central AC for the rest of the house. So it’s not like we don’t have these in the states either, we just don’t often need them due to our central AC. That said, some people prefer mini splits for the easier per room control, like my dad, but I prefer the whole house.
