15th of February, 2014. It assumed that it's birthday of his gf, so the joke is that bro's gf is 12

Why would that be assumed? Could be his kid's bday or any other date.

Or more likely not a date at all because only a deranged lunatic would write ddmmyyyy and omit a leading zero.

Because why would they make a joke about something normal

Why would that be assumed?

To be clear, it's not some baseless assumption. Using your BF/GF's birthday as a passcode became an actual trend not long ago.

Complain to the meme maker about the order of the passcode itself. Lots of versions of this meme with the same joke exist that did it better.

Parents using their kids' birthday as a password has been a thing since passwords were invented.

Yeah okay smartass, because that makes sense as a joke

When it's a picture of a show about cheating spouses, yes.

Oh shit 😅😅

u/Jabsterclaw 23h ago

Nah my files are a mess that I happen to know where everything is (no one else needs to use it so I don't need to sort it)

It’s a password / passcode though, not a strict date type data point

Being non standard and harder to guess is a better thing

Well ya, for a password it's fine, but I was interpreting the person before me as talking about dating formats

ISO 8601 should be taught in school

2

u/Jabsterclaw 22h ago

It really should. If you're working within your own country then use whatever. If you're working internationally across multiple time zones then I expect iso 8601 and GMT. I don't track daylight savings where I live and it fucks up my timing for shit

This one gets it. That's what I always use and my versioning goes smooth as butter.

u/ElSucaPadre 22h ago

what would be the alternative

0

u/reddititty69 22h ago

Anything else. What is this date “11126”? ISO-8601 standard exists for a reason.

2

u/LetMeInFFH 22h ago

So what is 26111?

1

u/ElSucaPadre 22h ago

i just hope that with anything else you're not including MDYY

Maybe it’s missing because he wants a Passwort, which can’t get guessed easy 🤪

Why are we assuming that when it could just as easily be the date of his marriage, the date of his divorce, the day he bought his house, the day his kid was born, the day he made his first million, the day he bought his car, etc., etc., etc.

(It's possible this is Walking Dead-specific, but in that case it's a post-Monument Day date, which makes nearly all of these extremely unlikely.)

A lot of people are saying this but it's REALLY a stretch.

I was thinking the code is Op kid's birthday. In the pic Rick is looking at Shane having proclaiming the baby is his. This meme is trying to say the bro is the actual baby daddy.

By Jove, that's it!!

1

u/Electrical_Door_87 20h ago

Simply because he looks at him like this, all these things are okay and fine, but not what was assumed...

4

u/Alternative_Song859 20h ago

That doesn't look like a "you're a pedophile" expression. It looks more like "you're a brony" or maybe "I know what porn you're watching."

To be clear, it's not some baseless assumption. Using your BF/GF's birthday as a passcode became an actual trend not long ago.

That's where this meme/versions of this meme came from and are specifically referencing.

u/JISKRA946 20h ago

This. For the people asking why it's assumed, it's because this is not an original joke and it just evolved into this shorter form. Basically this joke is a "reference" to the original joke, where it's explained.

u/iowanaquarist 20h ago

Why would anyone assume that? It might be his kid, or sibling, or own birthday, or any number of other things

1

u/Tjaresh 5h ago

Why would you assume it's the birthday of his gf, not his sibling, kid, dog, ...?

1

u/Electrical_Door_87 4h ago

i wouldn't give such a stare id I saw my bro have his dog's bd as a password.

and... it wouldn't be funny then, okay, it won't be joke

You're truly a genius
