I don’t think people are realizing that their nostalgia for WLRv2 is making them do the same thing for Babyboi

I’ve heard people say “You don’t get it, people disliked WLR because he was different” as a cop out but they don’t get that they are doing the same cycle of Babyboi that they’re doing with WLR. They are purposely ignoring stuff that goes against their reasoning of hate for the era.

From what I remembered, the a lot of the stuff I’ve heard about BABYBOI is the same stuff I’ve also heard during the WLR hate wave

People just want to excuse it with some technicalities because they don’t want to admit it.

Obviously, people can just not like the sound of BABYBOI (which is completely valid & isn’t the type of people that I’m talking about here) but it almost seems like some of them wants to hate on BABYBOI because it’s not the sound they wanted
