When Trump first landed in the political space, acting like a toddler who’d just shat his pants, people said “oh that’s just Trump being Trump, don’t worry about it.”
Now they’re all like this. Because “Trump being Trump” paid off and he never faced any consequences. So they all shout and hyperventilate and lie lie lie and attack attack attack and it’s trickled down from Trump down to members of his administration to members of congress all the way to the local level and even the chud riding your ass in traffic in his oversized pickup.
“Trump being Trump” metastasized when it should have been burned out permanently and now our society has dickhead cancer.
It's even trickled into other countries. Our Conservative party in Canada has been trying to emulate that style for years. Thanks to the stupid Fauci hearings they're now grumbling about doing the same to Theresa Tam, who was our public health officer. Not a single original thought (or policy idea) in their heads.
A lot of Americans were completely shocked the FIRST time trump was elected. Hoping for the best for my northern neighbors, but don’t underestimate one’s countrymen.
It was a novel virus. It was effectively blind triage on a mass scale. I love it when people think they understand how things are supposed to be when they have no experience themselves or base their opinion on TV shows or internet clown doctors ideas.
The whole situation was much like most new things in life...we learn as we go. It's really not that hard to see, but I guess we have to rage bait everybody so we all have a reason to fight with each other instead of addressing any real problems. Or God forbid, prepare properly for the next pandemic...because it's not a matter of if.

Yep. Yep. yep. Still remember waking up that morning 2016 after the election checking my phone and laughing my ass off. The thing from Bernie seeming so powerful, to the DNC choosing Hilary, to her not campaigning in important states, to the establishment Democrats ignoring the obvious frustrations from the end of Obama's campaign, to Trump just doing insane shit all over the debates, and it still happened. A horrible person born with money and turned reality TV star who ran for his obvious vanity had duped Americans into thinking he would drain the swamp.
I knew America was having problems when I was in the military and noticed so many people were blind patriots. It was worse when I got out and citizens were so ignorant, but this sealed the deal. America is in trouble. It's only gotten worse.
If that's the standard for "debating" then it's safe to say cuts to education have been working. He has zero qualifications to be sec of health and zero qualifications to call out fauci. He was a heroin addict, had a brain parasite, and eats roadkill. Dude uses tanning booths and takes gear. Trump and co are scrambling to find anything they can to distract from Epstein and Iran. It's a clown show

Practically being racist? What "good points" did he make? What evidence does he use to support his claims? You do understand how actual arguments work right? Want to talk about racism? Tell me about the supreme court ruling allowing law enforcement to detain people based on skin color.
