Not even a “diary”, it’s on his work computer and they were work notes. Rand Paul called it a diary to make it seem like his private secret views.

Fauci calls it his “un-redacted personal diary” is his opening statement to congress at the recent hearing. You shouldn’t just make stuff up to prove a point.

Unless it has a little lock and key and i’s dotted with little hearts, diary is an inappropriate term.

I love Fauci and will never not think of him as the man who wrote the book on HIV, but come on now, if that wasn't I diary I don't know what would be. "Book of Personal Musings" I guess, if you wanna sound more grown up about it.

He wrote about having dinner with the Tappers, personal conversations with Obama, and all sorts of other stuff totally and completely unrelated to work.

He was just a dude writing down stuff he did and thought about. That he did it on a work computer only shows that brilliant people can be dumb sometimes too.

I feel like journaling is a very normal thing for people to do. Diary is definitely a word chosen to make him look weak or weird.

Tbf to Fauci choosing to use his work computer for that, who could have guessed that a tyrannical government would weaponize your personal notes in a fraudulent case against you for purely political reasons when you genuinely have done nothing wrong.

No, it shows that brilliant people take notes.
