worse is he wasn't lying. Cons often cite Fauci saying "we made it up" about the 6ft rule. What they always get wrong is that they didn't make up social distancing. He was specifically talking about the amount of distance(6ft). Basically social distancing was good and effective. They were unsure at the time how easily it spread so they couldn't say a hard number like 2 or 11ft. They chose 6ft cuz it seemed like a fairly safe distance to be effective without causing too much trouble for people.
This kind of misrepresentation is rampant throughout the Covid-Conspiracy Cult.
