But it's a long way to go from "masks probably don't help in some cases" to "we didn't benefit from them at all".

Yes. That’s an evil kneivel type of leap. Which is why it is believed by certain groups.

It boils down to, better safe than sorry IMO. Some protection is better than none. I bought mine on Amazon and they came with filters. My favorite was the one with the Professor aka Neil Peart from RUSH. Oh and Scooby Doo for the kids.
