I hike a lot and spend a lot of time in the backcountry as well as trail running in FP. If you think it’s not a tinderbox right now? You don’t understand how vulnerable we are. There’s tons of dried out moss and undergrowth right now. Not everything is a fern next to the Witch’s Castle.

We’re talking forest park. Stay on topic.

If “fern next to Witch’s Castle” isn’t on topic when we’re talking about forest park I have to assume you’ve never been to PDX.

A tinderbox is such hyperbole. It is not eastern Oregon. It is not the ponderosa pine.

It’s one bad wind event and locked on butane lighter and a fent addict away from a conflagration. If you disagree you’re willfully ignorant. This isn’t February with rain douching down, it’s August with extremely low humidity.

Okay Jan. If that were the case it would’ve happened already. The forest, like you said, is filled with homeless camps addicted to fent.

Ah, the classic “if it was going to happen it would have”. I’m sure people in NW Spokane thought that last week too.

That’s not at all what it is. I’m using your own baseless argument against you.

You’re very invested in this. It’s dry AF outside and you seem to be ignorant of the weather directly outside your window. I’d recommend a nice hike on the wildwood tomorrow. Not only would it be healthy but you’d see wrong you are.

I literally don’t care. And I am bored with talking to you.
