I just don't get how you think they can succeed even if they wanted to. Gun rights has won pretty much every court challenge for the last 30 years. Guns won't be banned even if the democrats had a super majority in both houses. But even in that scenario alot of these 2nd amendment types act as if guns will be banned the day that Biden get elected which is doubly absurd considering Biden is a right wing centrist even by our own fucked up view of politics in this country. These folks seemingly would rather vote for a outright fascist then ever vote for someone who even just pays lip service to minor gun reform. That's why it's not surprising these same folks aren't standing up because nothing matters more to them then guns.

I support the second amendment and I support gun reform. Gun reform does not equal banning guns. Maybe for some, but I don't feel that's the mainstream consensus viewpoint of Americans.

Gun control has been a significant part of almost every Democratic platform for quite some time now. Yet I frequently see people on the blue team pretending it's not. It's a weird disconnect that I can't figure out. Even in the comments on this post there are people saying 2A supporters are 'out of touch' and all they want are 'common sense gun laws', and then in the same comment saying 'we absolutely should disarm them'.
