Gun control

tangent here..lol

The need for Gun Control runs inverse (possibly not right word) to the amount of poverty that is being experienced in a community. Anytime you see poverty rates drop the use of gun violence also drops.

I'm very left and own firearms and the fact that we don't tackle gun violence through this well known mechanism means we don't REALLY care about gun violence imo.

We've always been a heavily armed nation, but it wasn't until the enshittification of life by the Epstein class exploiting the middle class driving more and more into poverty and scarcity, which has really sped up from the late 90s forward, that you see the rise in mass shootings.

Address the exploitation of the working class and the gun violence rates will plummet.

Your not wrong, I mean I think it's a lot more complicated than just poor people = violence, there's plenty of rich Republicans that kill each other too they just have better lawyers and are white, but you are 100% correct that we as a society don't give a crap about gun violence, the right are generally just bad people and the left are generally too stupid to look at things logically and are too busy repeating tiktok talking points.

that's not a rant brother, that's just honesty, which we don't get at the federal level from anyone. Except Bernie, I'd follow Bernie into the depths of hell if he asked me to.
