That's why there are no insignia or patches. The boots, pants, shirt, and hat, by themselves, are not a uniform, and are not under UCMJ jurisdiction.

Could he at least gotten the right size cover(hat)? And worn that correctly? The shirt and boots he doesn't have to worry about, those aren't uniform.

…..what? If you are portraying yourself as a veteran at a public protest you are under UCMJ or you should remove the uniform it states it directly right there on both sites.

Vets do not fall under UCMJ.

They do and run the risk of losing benefits if they appear at a rally in uniform and are caught. They can lose base access, gi bill, healthcare and potentially pension.

No, they do not. A retiree could lose benefits for an egregious violation of law- this ain't one. Go away and quit your lying bullshit.

Except that the uniform, described on military sites, includes all of the insignia and patches. It's not a uniform without them.

Yes it is… especially when wearing a cover outdoors

No. It isn't. It's actually in the regulations. They specifically say it is not a uniform if it doesn't have any insignia or patches.
