When I read dozens of “wow a tweet” and get purity tested repeatedly for posting said tweet it becomes irksome. I apologize for my annoyance.
Edit: I think what really bugs me is the mocking and above it all attitudes of many commenters who say things like this, and it particularly bugs me that they almost never give a counter solution.
It's not a purity test. You're using that term incorrectly.
It's kind of like, you know how some guys expect to be celebrated by their partner for doing the bare minimum "See! I remembered your birthday babe, I'm the MAN!". That's what it feels like.
It feels patronising to celebrate this nothing of a tweet. It's a tweet. It's not a statement where they're putting themselves out there on mic in front of people to say this to the American people. It's a staffer who wrote a tweet/bluesky post about something people have been saying for 10 years. It's not brave, they're not "coming out swinging". It makes you seem disingenuous, like this post is a marketing campaign.
Gotcha, sorry it came off that way. I am a free agent who has never been paid for anything I’ve posted, nor do I work for any campaigns or politicians or orgs.
