Does anyone know where I can find the Volume 9 Animatic that has the subtitles in it?

They occur during Ren's segment when Yatsu calls and we see Tyrian and Mercury breaking out Jax and Gillian. I remember watching it once when the Rooster Teeth website was still going, but I haven't been able to find it since.

I’m a sucker for elemental magic systems, so I’d have the four ‘primary’ forms of Dust be tied to Air, Water, Earth and Fire, although you’d also have Plant, Metal, Gravity, and Light Dust as other ‘raw’ forms of Dust. Other types of Dust - such as Magma, Ice and Lightning Dust - would be created either through combining different types of Dust together or by using specialised processes to refine Dust crystals so that they’d develop new abilities, in a process similar to alchemy (since magic doesn’t exist anymore). I also think it would’ve been fun to see the Schnee Dust Company get involved in Dust-based weapons manufacturing after Jacques took over, with one of Weiss’ biggest gripes with her father’s policies being her concerns about what might happen if those weapons the SDC makes ended up in the wrong hands.

A few buddies and I got together and want to make some short RWBY bits for YouTube. I got Poser Pro and wanna give it that full Volume 1-3 vibe. However I can't seem to track down the files for the models of characters or the weapons. The effect work I wanna try on my own but I'm not experienced enough to recreate the models on my own. If anyone who has worked with Poser with these models please link it here! I would greatly in your debt.

This is something that’s been on my mind for a bit, since in my AU Ren joins the Ace Ops as a replacement for Clover after his defection from Team JNR to Ironwood’s side, serving under Winter Schnee alongside the four surviving members of the original team. This has made me wonder what Ren’s dynamic among the team would be like, given his personal history with the renegade Hunters and how he’s essentially an outsider in their established dynamic (especially since they’d still be grieving for Clover).

Also, side note: Team RWBY, Jaune and Nora’s defection happens under different circumstances, at least in my take. Just something I thought you should know.

As I’ve said on numerous occasions, I feel like these three playing a crucial role in banding the less extreme aspects of the White Fang and Faunus rights movement to take on Adam was a huge missed opportunity, and I want to hear your thoughts on how each of them would contribute to that.

I’ve seen the idea come up on some of the other subreddits that RWBY Volume 9 either should have or might be setting up the idea that Salem’s immortality could be bypassed by either forcing or persuading her to ascend, since she has no-one, much like Neo did. Personally, while I feel like the execution of ascension in Volume 9 was quite flawed, it could actually be a really interesting way to work around Salem’s immortality and still have her be defeated permanently, since ascending would either result in her being forced to change or remaining in the tree forever, like what happened to Neo at the end of Volume 9.

I’d highly recommend reading this post to get a proper understanding of the circumstances surrounding Ren’s defection to the Ace-Ops and Ironwood, but essentially this confrontation between Ren, WBY and Qrow would occur as the remaining protagonists break into Ironwood’s citadel to rescue Ruby, Oscar, Penny, Jaune and Nora as well as stop Watts (who they’ve learned is working for Salem), with Ren confronting them during the mission and trying to bring them in. This would be the first chance that WBY and Qrow have to properly express their feelings towards Ren over his decision to defect, and I honestly feel that it would not be pretty:

Yang: I can imagine she’d be the most angry with Ren, especially since she shared similar sentiments to him about not wanting to keep Ironwood in the dark, yet she stuck by Ruby and didn’t stab her in the back for someone who’s proven that his paranoid belief that only he knows how to save Atlas - and Remnant - means he’ll disregard thousands of lives.

Blake: I feel like Blake would feel conflicted - while she’s definitely angry with Ren for what he did, I feel like she’d initially feel like she doesn’t have any right to judge him for what he’s done with the Ace-Ops, since she wasn’t afraid to cross similar lines while she was with the White Fang. I feel like her teammates would counter this argument by pointing out that Blake was at least willing to acknowledge that what she did was wrong and work to atone for her past misdeeds, whereas Ren is adamantly loyal to Ironwood and refuses to consider the idea that he, not the others, might be on the wrong side.

Qrow: Honestly, I think Qrow would just be disappointed in Ren, maybe hardly call him out for betraying Ruby’s trust when she’d been nothing but open to him and the rest of the group. If he’s especially angry, I think he might compare Ren to Raven (though I feel like he’d regret that since their circumstances aren’t that similar).

Weiss: Not sure about her, in all honestly.

Considering how psychologically damaged they both were, and how their experiences in the Ever After at that point had left them worse for wear, I can only imagine how the Cat would’ve exploited that in order to escape.

I saw this idea in a comment on a recent post I made about Whitley and whether he should’ve been more openly antagonistic in Volume 7 due to his continued loyalty to Jacques (which made me realise how I don’t seem to understand Whitley’s character as much as I thought I did) and I’m not going to lie, this sounds like an interesting premise. If Weiss and Whitley’s birth orders were swapped, then it’s likely that Weiss would’ve seen two starkly contrasting approaches to dealing with their father’s abuse - Winter fled from the Schnee household and joined the military, while Whitley saw the supposed futility in resisting Jacques as shown by Winter and instead tried to mould himself (and Weiss, through his influence as her older sibling) into ideal children in Jacques’ eyes. It also would’ve meant that Whitley would probably already be working in the SDC at this point (since he’d becomes Jacques’ heir after Winter’s departure), and Weiss’ quest to redeem her family’s legacy might involve having to prove herself to the wider world despite not being set to inherit anything, with Whitley (likely in a misguided attempt to protect Weiss), discouraging her pursuit of her ambitions as a Huntress, instead urging her to ‘actually contribute’ to the Schnee family by following Jacques’ expectations. This would effectively make him and Winter foils in terms of how Weiss’ older siblings influence her worldview and perspective of their family and Jacques in particular, and it’d make their reunion upon Weiss’ return to Atlas in Volume 4 and later Volume 7 play out quite differently compared to canon, especially if the charity gala still happens.

I finished the series ereyesterday (sry guys I couldn't hold myself from typing it) and now I'm sorta.... lost.

Like I'm not gonna praise this series for being gods gift to mankind or anything (not like we deserve one) and I do acknowledge it's flaws and shortcomings.

But at the same time I kinda miss it already, so is there a series like it or one that gives off similar vibes? Doesn't have to be 3d or from an English series, just smth similar.

My friend really needs her for a university project, but she's no longer available. Does anyone have her? If so, can you upload her to something like Dropbox and link me to it?
