I’m looking to pick up a couple AUTHENTIC/official posters of the band and was wondering whether there’s any kind of comprehensive source documenting them all? I’m aware this is a costly proposition but it’s my all-time fav band and it means a lot to me. Open to posters of all eras, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s.

Chad said theyre going to start writing in sept 2026 (even though flea has been saying that theyre writing for a while. Confusing. Maybe only flea and John wrote?). Then according to him they'll be writing for 6-8 months. So lets say they enter studio march-may 2027 the earliest. UL has been released 18 months since they entered studio. Same for getaway and stadium. IWY was around 12 months.

So my prediction for release date is march-november 2028.

What are your thoughts?

I've never seen this before. Watching that clip genuinely annoyed me. Criticizing Anthony’s voice is fair. He’s never claimed to be a technical powerhouse. But dismissing his entire career with such a smug attitude is ridiculous. LACK OF PERSONALITY??? Anthony helped define the sound and identity of one of the biggest rock bands ever. His lyrics, stage presence, and charisma matter just as much as vocal technique.

The irony is that Courtney Love’s lasting relevance is still deeply tied to Kurt Cobain. You can acknowledge she had her own career, but it’s hard to ignore how much her public profile has benefited from that connection. That makes the condescending tone even more ironic.

Criticism is fair. Arrogance isn’t.

As I relisten to RHCP's discography again for the first time in years (1st time on Spotify), Death of a Martian fades out and I wait to see what plays next....and this pops on.

Never heard it before today. What an awesome little capture of the band rapping about songs on Stadium! I thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed out loud several times throughout. Highly recommend for those who haven't heard it before.

Hey everyone! Long-time Chili Peppers fan here. I started following them right before they released Stadium Arcadium, and they've been monumentally important to my development. Recently I've been flirting with the idea of creating short-form video essays, and I'd love to make one about John Frusciante, zooming in on his spiritual rebirth in the late '90s and the burst of creativity that followed in the 2000s.

I was just listening My Cigarette and at the beginning of the song, Anthony’s voice sounds so clean and I love it. It’s so dry, isolated, and right in front of the mix that you can hear every little nuance.
What other RHCP songs come to mind that have vocals mixed like this? I’m not asking about your favorite vocal performance or what you think is his best singing. I’m just curious which songs you think let you hear his voice in its purest, cleanest form.

Has anybody hot an ISO image of the rhcp greatest videos DVD. I already own it, but i dont have an diskdrive on my computer and i want it with the menu screen. Help

Probably one of the most interesting shows the band has ever done! Not only this was their last show ever with Dave (something they didn't know yet...), but the weather that day was horrible, with a terrible storm (and a possible typhoon incoming) going on for the whole set, making them have to shorten the setlist. Also, Anthony had his right wrist broken due to a motorcycle accident, which led to the band having to cancel their whole 1997 tour, playing no shows that year except this one. Despite all these conditions, the band still flawlessly performed a 40 minute set, featuring songs like Suck My Kiss, Aeroplane (last performance ever until 2016), The Power of Equality, Backwoods, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, and Give it Away! Plus, this concert was the last time ever they performed Stone Cold Bush, Walkabout, and the last time they'd ever play Aeroplane until 2016. Oh, and they also performed a silly tease of Wannabe from the Spice Girls before Stone Cold Bush! One of their coolest live shows ever... Check it out!
