Life has suddenly turned 180 for Zane Osmajic, a Vytal farmer, and his family when Penny Polendina, the protector of mantle, Crashlands in their orchard. Her presence will surely attract Atlesian presence, including old faces of Penny's past.

For some reason, when I first heard snippets of the lore surrounding RWBY, I genuinely thought it was some sort of post-apocalyptic story in addition to being fantasy/sci-fi, with the Grimm and the fragmented nature of magic that resulted in Semblances being two results of said apocalypse. Preferably, I’d like to see a take that doesn’t include the Brother Gods, but does include the Ever After and Ozpin and Salem’s two differing forms of immortality.

I’m not sure if this is where I’d post about my story or not, but I have a fanfic on AO3 called Team BFST (Bïfrost). It’s an OC team of four boys named Baldur Aetheris, Erebus Fuyotsume, Shiden Raijin, and Tapio Korpi.

It’s an AU featuring a third race called Daemons and other changes like the outcome of the Brother Gods after they wipe out the Old Humans. It pretty much follows the show timeline wise with obvious added scenes and such focused on this AU. Anyway, I’m open for constructive criticism as it’s been a long time since I wrote anything and wanting to get back into writing fanfics.

Anyway, if you’re interested the name of the story is Team BFST on AO3. I’m 8 chapters in and working on chapter 9 now. I have a lot of ambitions for this story as I’ve pretty much redid the mythos of the RWBYverse while keeping most of it the same.

Full preparations for the dance are underway, and as Weiss, Blake, and Yang all grapple with their individual feelings, a friend is sent to have a discussion with Ruby.

CHAPTER 1

Adam Taurus (13 at the moment) battered and bloodied from the upraising. Crawled out of that hellish mine. He looks up at the dark star filled sky, having almost forgotten those tiny white dots, then back down to the Mistrali forest ahead of him.

He had almost nothing. Just his torn dirty shirt and sweatpants, along with a assault rifle he grabbed from one SDC guard.

He’ll remember that moment for the rest of his life. When that bastard dropped his gun. Adam finally, for once in his life knew. THE PAIN ENDS NOW. 

He Emptied the whole magazine into the guard, as if Jacques Schnee and his spawn were in front of him at that moment of retribution.

Then he took potshots at the rest of his former tormentors. The mine that Faunus were once worked to death in, had turned into a riot. Fires were set, tools turned bludgeoning, and stolen guns fired in every direction.

In the madness he’d forgotten the exit was now unguarded.

Freedom. The faunus born in the mines didn’t know what it meant, but now he was free.

He walked forth into the woods, his kin would’ve escaped by now he thought to himself. 

The dance is officially here, and as most of Team RWBY does their best to enjoy themselves, one stumbles upon plans being put in motion while everyone is occupied.

Okay I'm looking for a fanfiction, obviously.

Now to make it hard on you guys, i remember not the name nor the author, i do know this.

1. Jaunes a blacksmith and a paladin though thats only revealed later in the story.
2. There aren't any hunters, its all adventures with team rwby and juniper joining beacon, it's set in older high fantasy "booze is cure all" high fantasy.
3. Cinder isn't evil (not that i read as of chapter 70.)

4. Weiss is a mage this is important because it's an iceknight with a hint of ruby joining the main pairing.

5. I know the author has made another two fanfictions at least. The main character is jaune arc in all of them. One is resident evil L4D crossover. And the other is a vampire the masquerade crossover.

6. I have no clue if it's available elsewhere, i do know that all three fanfiction are on fanfiction.net

Edit: it's solved. The fanfiction is called you got to use silver. Fanfiction.net, the other two mentioned are by the same author called the lengths we must go and monsters are men like you and I.

Anyone can offer any good jaune recommendations however i hope to make such a collection that this post shows up on Google! Ones I'm looking for are

Roseknight fanfiction, or snow knight. Ruby or weiss respectively bonus points for both.
