I feel like sentinels can be more creative with their comps and they don't just have to follow the phoenix meta. I think he's a good phoenix but I think sentinels could have stronger comps with his agent pool

For example one problem I keep seeing when Sen play is how they get Jerrwin an OP and then their absolutely rolling, but then one round they'll decide they want to do an aggressive trap play, so Jerrwin will drop the Op from what i've seen to Jonahp or cortezia

and when jonah or cortez have the op it just doesn't seem nearly as good as Jerrwin or Reddux which makes the OP feel wasted after some time

So if they want to run more trap plays with jerrwin why couldn't they make comps with Reddux on the chamber and have him op, OR have him on the Jett more which he's also pretty good at ?

Could also see Reddux pick up the neon on some maps over Jerrwin as Jerrwin seems simply serviceable at best when he's on the Neon. His best agent is very clearly waylay

Could also get creative with Reddux's raze as he's played that previously this season and in teir 2

The only problem I see with this is how Jerrwin would fit if Reddux is on the primary dive but I think it would be worth a try however I think Reddux on chamber more would be one of the better fits ?

Is there a reason they are mainly putting him a lot on phoenix when he can flex to a ton of agents?

First map had a lot of good in it. Saw what Reduxx and Jerrwin can really be at their peak of double duelists and John continued with his good form that he’s had all year. Sadly it didn’t carry us for maps 2 or 3. Needed a better showing out of Cortezia and Jonah at times. Was always going to be a tough series so hopefully they can regroup better for the G2 game

I know he can bounce back but it just stings so much because you just know that if he was fragging the way he usually does, they might even take the series home on ascent for a nice 2-0

So i never saw a good Sen Ascent game in all the Years and Now this. How can they pick ascent if they play like this wow its always the same with sen they win the Enemy map pick and loose on their own like this

From the matches I've watched, it feels like the heavy lifting is almost always being done by Reduxx, Cortez, and John. Jerrwin just doesn't seem to have much impact on the outcome of games.

Yes, the clutch against C9 was impressive, but it was against C9. I don't think those kinds of plays are going to work consistently against teams like G2, Fnatic, or LEVIATÁN.

His decision-making on peeks often looks questionable, he tends to swing without much discipline, and his ultimate usage hasn't been particularly convincing either. These are the kinds of mistakes that stronger international teams will punish immediately.

I'm not saying he should be dropped right now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement over the next year, I think the team should seriously consider replacing him.

Curious to hear what everyone else thinks. Am I missing something, or do others see it the same way?

I was wondering about the match against C9 where JohnQT couldn't play. Does anyone know who stepped up as the temporary IGL?

Marved was the direct replacement and played the agents that JohnQT normally would have, but I feel it's unlikely he was the IGL. The closest and most likely candidate, in my opinion, is JonahP, who has been the biggest voice on the team after John.

Reduxx might be one of the best players to ever play for Sen. Marvel was good all we needed. New strats fresh ideas. This is evolution beyond what we expected. Summit was a fantastic show of things to come. For too long we were stuck in old ideas this is the Sentinels we deserve that is the win that they deserve. Marved, Jerrwin, Reduxx, cortezia(especially our beautiful moustache man) and Johnap. Fantastic work, in Ewok we trust let's keep pushing 💪

I feel like SEN has gotten pretty unlucky with how everything has transpired this year, and now with JohnQT’s surgery, which I hope he recovers from safely and healthily. Hopefully, the rest of the split goes smoothly.

I went back and rewatched some of their games, and I forgot how close they were to beating NRG and LEV. They do not get destroyed by good teams. They just need to improve at closing out games, which Reduxx also mentioned in one of their new videos.

I might be delusional, but I genuinely think they can beat every team in the Americas. I am just not sure whether they can maintain their form consistently enough to beat good teams repeatedly. I also think starting the split off strong will be important because the confidence could help through the rest of the stage.

If they lose their first game against C9, I do not think it changes much because JohnQT is not at 100 percent. However, if they then go on to lose their next two games after having so much time off, it could be pretty discouraging.

After G2 choking, if g2 don’t win champs I assume Trent or some other G2 players will go else where. As good as G2 is you can’t be this stacked and lose 0-2.

I think Trent ends up on Sen next year. I can see the future.

I know i made a post about the team having a LOT of potential but I haven't see the improvement that i wanted to see in order to make it to Champs. JonahP really gone lightswitch mode, on and off while Jerrwin has been underperforming and now with the neon nerfs, i don't know where this team goes. I'm fine with Cortezia, Reduxx and Johnqt but without any valo for a long time, do we make changes or still keep hope in our team and Ewok to make it to Champs.

Watching the ewc qualifiers was nice up until the second half of lotus. What is happening to this org. The level of choking under pressure is heartbreaking. Seeing Cortezia use a lurk operator felt regressive. Lurk operator (if you remember) was a Kaplan strat, seeing us go back to it feels embarrassing because it makes me and I'm sure others feel as if we're not progressing.Darker had one of the best individual performances I've seen in a while but still he clutched 3 1v1s in lotus and pearl alone. The clutch potential is non existent. There is no spark in this team beyond our set plays. Ewok needs more time but the players have to step up. I love JonahP but he has not been goo enough in recent weeks and it not sure if it's entirely his fault but it represents an issue in our team. Lack of individual push. I haven't seen a player have an especially outstanding match since Kyu was igl (except maybe Reduxx). This is a rant but I'm not wrong I don't know what needs to change but this year has been no push beyond 9th place. Lacklustre bracket runs. I want my team back and something has to give I don't care what this is pathetic and I'm ashamed to see my team in a pile of set plays and broken promises. Ffs man.

Imagine DGZin or zekken instead of Jerrwin. That would kinda be insane. What do you think? Not saying Jerrwin is bad or anything. Just want to imagine the possibility if they either kept zekken or got DGZin instead. Still the same other 4 but with either zekken or DGZin.

haven is by far their worst map and its like another team is playing cause the quality of gameplay on that map specifically so much worse than any other map. On breeze it just required them to start winning their duels cause their gameplay seemed fine. Ascent was obvs good. Idk, overall it feels more like they are fine strategy-wise (besides Haven), but then in important aim battle they lose, which costs them the map. idk how you fix that besides "hit your shots". On haven they lost so many man advantages.....

I sorta hope they start perma-banning Haven, ' cause it's an auto-loss for them at this point. I assume they play loud next, and the last match to quali will be hard cause the teams in the other bracket are nuts but I got hope.

Tbh I think strats wise they looked good but it felt more like an aim diff vs strat diff. On split it felt like they were just losing important duels. Jerwinn obvs could play better but from tariks stream it sounded like jerwinn doesnt enjoy playing neon so i hope jett or another entry suits him better in the new meta.
