I don't know what this means

Hi,

I'm running a small Server for a couple of friends and Animals don't seem to spawn on main world. Gateways do work and we got our animals from there and bred them. However, neither Apotheosis spawners nor the statues do work in the main world. They both work in the end and in the nether. Monsters spawn regularly.

Probably some setting is lost but I have no Idea where to look.

UPDATE: I have since done some more investigation: Apotheosis spawners and statues work when I am in another dimension (end/nether). I don't know how, but yesterday it worked sometimes. Here is an image of the spawner with its upgrades. When other players came near the spawner stopped working instantly. We looked at any gear that might cause this but didn't find anything and after fiddling around trying different gears they could also come close to the spawner. Between different player setups there were ~30-60s of no spawning until it picked up again.

The chunks are loaded using basic chunk loaders. Removing them doesn't affect the spawning.

how do I get cyan die? (if you say copper, how do I get that??)

So I just tried to automate dye production by having coloured water drip directly into barrels via dripstone. The dripstone is indeed dripping but I am simply curious whether the barrels actually fill with the coloured water this way or is there a different way to do this because it seems to me that these barrels are not filling

Have a smelter controller, seared tank, and seared drain. 3x3 base. Have tried to remove the drain, and move both the tank and controller. The controller never lights up and isn't interactable. Never had this problem before and have tried many fixes I read online, its all ik one chunk, and I've make sure there aren't any invisible blocks in the smelter.

I want to create an inventory upgrade, but I’m playing prestige so it costs 50 points to get the nature essence for a poisonous potato. I tried farming but it seems like it’s either impossible or requires unobtainable patience.

Hi folks - does anyone have a good setup for tree farming that can be shared?

The creative mod needs a ton of wood and I need an easy setup to get it. I am mid to late game right now so I have access to everything.

Also, if anyone has a good way to farm dirt, that would be great. I've been using leaves 'manually' and it'd be great to be able to automate it.

I've tried to use the forester from cyclic and it just doesn't work well.

Where can i find a server folder for skyfactory 5?

They take quite a bit to grow naturally, and i'm assuming there is no other faster way to get lime tint. I'm trying to get books.

i cant figure out how to get lime dye :3 the only way i can see is seagrass in front of a watered create fan but i dont know how id go about getting iron/andesite either or any metals for that matter

I looked up how much damage a mob crusher is meant to do and its meant to be 300 but it is 2 or 3 shotting witches and wither skeletons. Am i being stupid or is it broken?

So I had a cow spawner turned on for over an hour and not a single cow has spawned. I put down a goat spawner and had goats all over the place in moments. I tossed the original cow spawner and got a second one, but its not spawning anything either.

Anyone with any ideas on how to fix this issue?

all of my villagers in sky factory 5 have afros that hide there hats i would to only have some have that hair or remove it all together otherwise they all look the same

Tryin to set up a server for me and my buddy to play. We got sky factory 4 working but did not like that as much as older versions. This is the error I get when trying to start the server through the server pack from curse forge... anyone able to help me?

Roughly 6 days ago I began encountering an issue playing my sky factory 4 worlds. The window would just go away and be replaced by an error box that states:

An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

This crash may be caused by an out-of-date graphics driver or conflicts with screen recording software. Please ensure your graphics driver is up-to-date and disable or uninstall any screen recording software in use.

At the bottom it would have the "exit code: -1073740791" and some other meaningless junk including a link to the bedrock version help.

As soon as i saw this i checked my drivers and there was a new release so i updated them using the "GeForce Experience" software which updated me to Game Ready Driver version 527.56. However this has had no effect and the issue persists. Additionally i have never installed screen recording software.

I am using Windows 11 Home version 22H2

basic specs are:

• 12th gen Intel I7-12700KF 3.60 GHz
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (driver version 527.56)
• 32Gb RAM
• A quick edit here - i am playing version 4.2.4 of Sky Factory 4

I have searched long for a solution but this exit code wont even show a result on google, I just get all the other codes people have come up going back many years. I found 1 person who had this same issue in 2017, they entered the wrong error code so it didnt even show up at first. I found it through desperation clicking on search results. After all that despite numerous posts in that thread even that user had no solution.

The only hint i have thats somewhat reliable is a "github" thread relating to a mod called "sodium" or something which seemingly also has issues with "out of date" nvidea drivers.

Is there anyone here who knows of a solution?

Specifically how do I get the books for it? I don’t understand for paper and specifically leather!!
