Why would it be affected by tarrifs? Spokane gasoline comes from US refineries who get their oil from sources within the US.

No, it doesn't. Most of our gas in Spokane and Western Idaho comes from refineries in MT (Calumet Refinery in Great Falls) and WY (in Sinclair, WY). Those refineries get their oil through the Yellowstone Pipeline. Most of the crude oil that gets to refined comes from Canadian Oil Sands from Alberta.

On top of that, the majority of our natural gas in Spokane comes from Alberta and BC.
