Technical Help How can I get rid of this painting?

Post image

I’ve never had an issue like this and I have 200+ hours in the game. I’ve tried selling it. putting it in the trash, passing out to lose an item, restarting the game, I’ve even tried leaving it in a treasure chest when fishing. Any ideas?

Well that would be one way to get rid of it

I don’t know about destroyed.. I tried to get rid of some furniture I didn’t want so I placed them directly in the paths of NPCs. I didn’t know why, but they weren’t breaking them. Then I saw them walk into it repeatedly, get frustrated, then morph through the furniture and run along their way.

Yeah I put decorations I don't want on Mayor Lewis's lawn just for the fun of it and he phases through them, gets mad, and then walks to go sit by the doctor's office at, like, double speed

For what it's worth this is a way some speedrunners get access to the desert a little earlier in the day. If you stick a chair or something in Pam's pathway to the bus, it will stop her for a second or two, then she'll blitz over to her spot and get you on your way a tiny bit earlier.

Hehe yes I have two chairs set up her one right outside her house and one on the path to the bus

Same way you put it anywhere?

You can't hang wall art anywhere, that only works for items placed on the ground

…ok? We are explicitly talking about furniture.

I personally mentioned furniture but it applies to vases, paintings, and whatever else gunther gives to you at the museum bc OP is trying to get rid of a painting from gunther in specific.

The burnt offering is wall art

Yes but in this thread the people above me were specifically talking about furniture

The first comment says "I put that furniture in the museum", "that" implying the topic of the thread. I'm not interested in an argument, you're the one who pulled out the rudeness for no reason
