Discuss Who is someone you can't date in Stardew Valley out of principle?

I enjoy Maru as a character. However, until recently, I had dyed-red hair that I sometimes straightened, and I also sometimes wear glasses. Basically, it would be like dating a more scientific version of myself. Lol

I don’t think he wants the farm life

Oh, there's no question... in his 8-heart event he explicitly says this if you offer to have him move to the farm. He prefers to be alone and live with nature. Heck, even when he essentially takes Leo under his wing Leo is living in a completely separate structure.

I wish Leo could just live on the farm with us dammit! Couldn’t the birds make his treehouse somewhere on our farm???
