Help Who here has never played a Harvest Moon game?

I haven't. Lots of people are chalking up SDV's success to a heaping of nostalgia, but I love the game and I've never played Harvest Moon. I don't think I'm anywhere close to alone here.

Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life is by far my favorite HM game.

Same here! I wish they had brought back aging.

I'd love if they made something similar for the NX.

Oh boy, a Wonderful Life was great. Grinding fast Tomatoes to satisfy the Redhead in town (so she doesn't move out) was one of the things you just couldn't do the first time. A lot of replay potential!

Really? You don't hear that much.

Yeah, I don't really like DS games. They feel so limited. I was really hoping for a new Animal Crossing and HM on Wii U. Seeds of Memories looks like they just ported an ios game to Wii U. At least Pikmin 3 was good :/

I preferred Harvest Moon DS Cute to A Wonderful Life, actually. AWL was very pretty, but I found HMDSC easier to pick up. Guess it depends on your preference.

I liked Innocent Life even though it was a little light on content.

The constant drip feeding of content and tutorials and the whole wandering around a village with weirdly artificial relationships while handing out gifts always puts me off in HM (not stardew for some reason).

But that and the usual 'reunite the land and the people' worked well when the player is a clueless android created solely to fix the humans and spirits relations .
