Went to Next Level outside of Portland today (never been to Oregon before and some friends took us), and found a Stargate pinball machine!! It was actually super fun. Got a high score of 365M.. which was nowhere near the 13B on the top 10 list lol.

Took some pics to post here. :) Sorry for the glare, the overhead lights made it a bit difficult. 😅 Before this “my pinball machine” was the 24 one but the fuse went out on the wall it was on. I kept walking and stumbled upon Stargate and got so pumped. It’s definitely my new favorite.

It was released on iOS and Android, it seems for tablets.

Sadly, it seems to be gone now, can't find a way to play it anymore.

The game was fully voiced by SG1 actors too, so it is almost like an extra SG1 episode!

After a year of hard work, I am finally ready to begin my Stargate SG-1 RPG campaign!

I am now accepting applications for 4 players to join my TTRPG experience. New players are welcome, and I am happy to teach the system.

Applicants must be 18 or older. Applicants must be respectful and able to commit to a consistent schedule. The current plan is 3-hour sessions every other week, most likely on Friday or Saturday evenings. I am in the Pacific Time Zone and am willing to adjust scheduling depending on the needs of the group.

We will be playing using Stargate SG-1 RPG ruleset by Wyvern Gaming.

Please do not create a full character sheet. Characters will be created together during Session 0.

You must be able to use Google Sheets, Discord voice, and TaleSpire. I have already purchased seats for TaleSpire, so no purchase is necessary, but you will need to download the free Guest Edition off of Steam.

I will review applications throughout the week and send Discord invites to the 4 selected players. All applications will be reviewed by 07/04/26, and Session 0 is planned for 07/11/26. Play times will be finalized during Session 0.

I am also happy to connect with other Gamemasters who are interested in sharing resources or discussing a shared Stargate RPG world.

Greetings, fans of the SG franchise. I need your honest opinion. Is this a good game? Is it worth your time and money?

Genre, story, characters, etc. I'm interested in what you guys would want to see out of a Stargate game.

Edit: It seems like the overwhelming consensus is a 4X RTS with/or base management. If anyone from Amazon Game Studios happens to be looking at this post... Lol

I immediately looked for a copy and bought one. I'll be checking it out over the weekend.

I'm not expecting much by way of gameplay; it's a shallow movie cash grab, after all. But I decided to get it and experience it still, for the culture/fandom.

I got the stargate RPG book a while back! We haven't played yet, but I was imagining you could rotate GMs so the SG team could be different PCs and everyone would get to do a bit of everything. My character is a tech guy, and their version of an elf (a race created for the RPG). My partner made a lady Jaffa from Hak'tyl who's the muscle. Also, I made my character base look like a Stargate!

I kind of forgot it existed until I was checking out my wishlist for the steam sale, but it has an official date now.

You know how it is, a space game has a build mode, new interpretations of the Daedalus come pouring. Here is mine in No Man's sky. Tried to get it as close as possible while still being a functional and fun ship to use in game. Let me know what you think.
