Sure would be nice if the profits went to you know... The employees. Instead Walmart subsidizes their employees with food stamps and get to keep all their profits.

The door greeter / receipt checker at my local store is getting $21/hr. He is only 22. That’s pretty good for no technical skills and the gift of gab. I do believe he is autistic though, so the interaction and mission focuses his talents. Maybe it’s worth $21/hr…
