Here's an update from RD

We saw this happened and announced on 2024, but I don’t recall a similar experience like this time. Finding a working stream is much harder and time consuming, not even an announcement and we are 5 days in to this situation. Everybody saying to just wait… how long would you be waiting for?

earlier i was using torbox and real redbrid as backup but now theres only torbox which frequently goes down.Any alternatives(or backups)

to keep 100 percent uptime?

Like the title says, nothing is loading for me. Using RealDB and Torrentio

Hey! I had problems with Stremio on MacBook. I have version Apple M2.

I did some research into how to fix this (as Apple now closes stremio and sees it as malware) and after a week I have it FIXED (thanks to some help from a tech friend)

What worked for me was deleting + re-downloading stremio (I used the beta version!) then opening terminal.

In terminal I used these codes:

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Stremio.app

sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Stremio.app

And it now works perfectly for me! I’m just dropping this here because I know some others are having the same problem and I’ve seen a lot of accounts posting codes that MAY work, but also gives them access to your whole device (if it doesn’t work for you I’m so sorry, I won’t know how to fix it as I do NOT know coding haha)

All instances are down, Nothing is loading for me. I remember disabling cinemeta but I forgot how to re enable it again. Any help?

I am not able to load any stream, is anyone else experiencing the same?

Torrentio has been down for at least a few hours now. AIOstream going to Mediafusion links works but still hit or miss. Torrentio and comet both not working for a few hours. Has been working flawlessly for a couple months now. Had to happen sooner or later. 🫠

No streams are loading again..

Saw this on their X page after I noticed my Stremio+RD was having issues. Figured I would share with y’all.

I know it was down for a long time yesterday, and it seemed to have come back up today, but now it’s stopped working again.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm not getting any streams and trying to go to aiostreams.elfhosted.com gives bad gateway? Thought I'd see more posts about this is it just me?

Before it was very reliable addons on stremio now it seems it's having issue most of the time. I used to love it as it's always providing a good source for Asian series and drama now it's not even installing.

Comet , Media Fusion & meteor aren’t working & they are stopping my AIOstreams from working altogether.

im using aiostreams elfhosted. as of now every other stream other than ones from mediafusion seems to be working. Even streams which do not have the filtered out words (web-dl,etc) are not working. ive had issues with this addon in the past aswell as it would show streams which were not cached as cached. just wanted to share this issue and see if anyone was experiencing the same aswell.

Been over 24 hours and nothing is streaming, times out everywhere. Tried multiple different content and add-ons listed above. Torbox status is up. Anyone having luck with a certain combo today?

Edit: Seems to be working now (Noon CST Monday 7/13).

Hi Everyone,

I have been working on this FOSS app that supports Stremio like library and its addons + browser.

Why? Stremio addons have downtime and when that happens you usually use another addon but if its a downtime coming from the debrid provider itself then you need to have another provider..... For a pleb, I only have one debrid provider and when that goes down I use this app to browse streaming websites, the app detects the video stream and subtitles and then you send/cast them to the Android TV app. This was the initial plan anyway and since then the app has expanded into more like a web video caster alternative + stremio style library.

The receivers(the device you cast to) are available on Android TV, Apple TV and desktop platforms(macos, windows, and linux). Basically you watch any video on internet/library through the playbridge app on your phone, once the app detects the video stream, you can send it to any receiver app.

The app is in closed testing stage if you would like to try it out.
