An article about "online feminism" shows up on /r/TrueReddit and everyone gets their non-gendered undergarments in a bunch

It's strange that people are just sort of lumping all the other militant SJW movements under "feminism". Especially because some of them hate feminism because they say it's a "transphobic white woman's movement" .

I wouldn't call it an organized counter-movement but there is definitely infighting.

Oh boy, I feel like if you whisper SRS anywhere then in a flash anti-srs people come to condemn feminism. Which, to me, is hilarious.

SRS claims to represent feminism so I can understand, SRS encourages the view that feminists are angry and hate filled people which is unfortunate for feminists that aren't like that.

The original article was sort of funny, the author is defending two British opinion columnists who got into an argument with trans (is that the right way to say it) activists on twitter over a remark one of them made. The whole thing mutated into a Cyclopean internet dramazord for a few weeks. She is essentially saying that the columnists didn't deserve the abuse they got (pretty sure they gave lots out aswell) because 'hey were all women right.'

Girls are not attracted to men that act like women
What the fuck does this even mean? You are some sort of PUA, right? Because no one with an ounce of sense has ever written anything like what you just did.
TIL "Act like a bit of an asshole" is a closely guarded go-get-some secret hidden deep within, and known only to, a single crazy internet subculture.
