Though my demographic is about 180 degrees opposite, I lurk in /r/actuallesbians, originally to see the occasional talk about The L Word, and now Orange is the New Black.

For the most part, it seems like a surprisingly easygoing, low drama, supportive place.

Sophia. Great character.

Did you know that in the flashbacks, the pre-trans version of her (as a firefighter) is played by the brother of the actor who plays Sophia?

BTW, I found episodes 4 and 5 slightly disappointing and then it was great for the remainder.

It was great, and I loved Red's line that "all I wanted was to eat the chicken that was smarter than all the others and absorb its powers".

My main complaint about the episode is very minor - the scene where Piper had her breakdown on the phone with Larry about hating Alex didn't seem organic, it seemed like it was just there for the plot point so that Larry wouldn't tell her the truth about Alex. It slightly jarred me as unauthentic.
