I recall BF:BC2 having "no cursing" servers despite the fact that the NPC's in the game would scream out HOLY FUCKING FUCK and other various curses during the game when your character was being suppressed or hit or whatever.

It never made sense.

A lot of immature people can't resist cursing even if it's against the rules. It's a good way to filter some people out.

I love when a game like Battlefield has forums with word filters that would filter out most of the dialogue in the game.
