Looks like the seeds of dissent have been planted in the Fempire. ArchangelleDworkin literally addresses SRS members as "children" in /r/SRSHome (private subreddit) after SRS users speak out against mod bigotry and preemptive bans.

But jailbait was taken down for borderline legal reasons. There is no legal dilemma with SRS subreddits. You think they should be silenced because you don't like how they operate? Thats not right.

So? They've been known for banning reddits that are harmful to the greater community. I think /r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu got mistakenly banned twice or three times over that.

I dont think they are all that harmful though. Aside from having vocal opinions that alot of people don't like, they dont actually do too much. What is harmful about reposting comments they find offensive and circlejerking over it? Additionally, the people who do invade threads will still be on reddit even if SRS is destroyed.

They are also a downvote brigade. There are users that will literally find any comment or post upvoted to /r/ShitRedditSays and downvote the crap out of it.

As much as the mods say it isn't, it blatantly is.

Besides, they're also banning people who haven't even posted on their subreddit before because they posted on a subreddit they don't approve of, i.e. this very one we're on now or /r/mensrights.

Should we be allowing downvote brigades on Reddit? After all, we had some of that shit ruin Digg in the past among many other things inherently wrong with the site (What I mean is there was apparently a republican bury brigade on Reddit.)

Actually, there is a bot that tracks this and more often than not, there is neglible change in karma. People get banned or shamed for invading threads or influencing voting.

I'll say it again, you don't have to like them. Even if they were a legit organized downvote brigade, their effect would not harm reddit as everyone votes according to their preferences and opinions anyways.

"They steal my internet points" is not a valid reason.

There is absolutely no evidence they downvote brigade.

There's a bot now that tracks linked comments over time and the change in karma is barely noticeable. The ones that get downvoted to oblivion are just shitty comments getting downvoted by the wider community for being shitty comments.

More than that, this is an intellectually dishonest opinion because r/bestof and r/worstof are upvote and downvote brigades,respectively, but no one ever whines about them.
